Postage Stamps going up to 39 cents in Jan 2007

I just saw this on CNN. I looked on the CNN website and I didnt see it, but it was on the CNN Channel tho. Why dont they make it in even amounts? Well I guess it will be.. It will be $7.80 for a book of 20 stamps. I remember when Stamps were .11 and .13 cents hehe. But I guess with all the internet email and stuff we have now, we dont use snail mail as much as we used to.

not to mention the price of gas! im sure thats one job where A HUGE amount of gas is used! :rolleyes:

doesnt surprise me tho....everything else is going up, why not stamps!

I agree -- when at all possible I email. I used to send tons of cards via snail mail -- NOW I just email birthday cards and etc.. to my friends and family.

ugh so soon I'll be paying more for crappy service.. I swear the post office employees SUCK out here. :rolleyes:

of course I understand though... w/ everything increasing it means there costs are going up to... thankfully we have internet banking and bill pay ;)
