As you all know, Patchouli's brother was in an accident. If you would like to send him a card, that would be wonderful. (Don't forget to mention is GF also.) Anyways, PM me or post here and I will give you the address. We can send them to the hospital, since he will be there for a bit as well as rehab after that. Thanks so much for doing this, I know Donna will appreciate it. And by the way, refer to her as Donna, since her brother more than likely will not know her by Patchouli...LOL..Thanks so much... :)

Two on Motorcycle Injured in Collision

A motorcyclist and his passenger were seriously injured Thursday night after they collided with a pickup truck turning in front of them.

Paul McKinley, 41, of Dundee, was riding with a female passenger when 45-year-old Richard Danley's truck turned in front of them at Porter Drive and Canal Road about 8:30 p.m., said Polk County Sheriff's spokeswoman Carrie Rodgers.

McKinley and his passenger, whom deputies were unable to identify late Thursday, were airlifted to Lakeland Regional Medical Center, Rodgers said.

Danley, of Lake Wales, violated the motorcycle's right of way, Rodgers said.

My brother has already talked to a lawyer and the person who is going to do the investigation. lol From what my mother said is that the guy was driving a work vehicle and said something about the company being the one responsible to pay. I'm not sure how things like that work so I don't know.

I am glad to hear that... not that I am glad he was in a wreck, but at least there is someone who is responsible.... of all the uninsured people driving around, you just never know.

If he was driving a company truck the company is the one who will pay for everything. My hubby was hit by the phone co. here and completely ruined his jeep. They sent us to pick out a new one and cut us a check for it. They paid all the medical also.
