I hope that the show he puts on is a good one for you. DH and I went to see him at the Alltel Pavilion in Raleigh a few years ago. He had Travis Tritt and Charlie Daniels with him on the same ticket. Charlie Daniels opened the concert and Travis Tritt followed. Both of them were awesome! By the time that Hank, Jr. got ready to take the stage, he was so drunk that he forgot a lot of the words and most of them he slurred. He also decided to try and introduce his own band members and he forgot their names. The guys in the band ended up introducing themselves. We stayed for two of his songs, other people began to leave and we did soon as well. We were listening to the radio on the drive home and the DJ's were talking about it. They received a call from another DJ who was at the concert who said that Hank Jr. had almost fallen off the stage doing a song and that they had to cut his set short because he was unable to finish it. It was kind of sad really.

Well I'm back and I'm not happy.I'm not mad at Hank,he did a good job and didn't seem to be drunk, from what I could see.He sounded really good.
It's the ignorant people that attended the concert. Why is it that people always have to stand up? Why is it so hard to understand that if everyone would stay seated in their chairs, then everyone could see? We paid $42 a ticket just to really just HEAR him.Alot of goofballs were standing up in their chairs and lots of people behind them couldn't see. Several people were yelling at them to get down and they didn't pay any attention.Security came and told them all to sit down,as soon as he walked off, back up they went.We got to see him sing very little,it was mostly only hearing him.I came out of that place PO'd to no end.

LOL my brother was there at the concert with you. I hope he wasnt one of the drunks standing in a chair. I also hate when people stand up like that.
