I was just checking our weather online and included in our weather updates they also have an air quality bar graph with colored blocks showing its level. Currently its at:

Air Quality
Today: Unhealthy Sensitive

Do any of your areas do this as well ?? Its something new to me

Also I took the kids to the lake earlier and it was soooo grey and hazy out. Yuck Yuck. I sat and roasted in the 100 degree weather while my kids played in the lake because my niece is staying with us and didnt have a swimsuit so I let her use mine. Needless to say we only stayed a few hours

We had some of those Ozone alert days a week ago or so. They say that that it is best to stay inside if you are elderly or ill, not to put gas in your car till evening, don't mow your lawn (don't have to do that anyway with the lack of rain we have had), and don't drive anywhere if you don't have to. I think ours are color coded though - green is good, yellow is okay and red is unhealthy and very very bad. Usually though once we get a little bit of wind or rain it clears up though.

We have them as well. We've had them a lot over the past couple of weeks because of the high humidity.
