After reading the supper thread and seeing so many of us not cooking because of the temps, I started wondering what everyones weather is like.

I'm in N. MS about 15-20 min from Memphis and the high here for the next 3 days is 100. YUCK! I'm ready for fall lol. Oh well, at least we are getting our money's worth out of the pool we bought this year. :cool:

Tulsa OK here... one news station says 102 and one says 103.. and the radio just said that the heat index is 110 :eek:

Hot, hot, disgustingly hot. So hot you don't want to move. It's hot enough to grill hamburgers on the sidewalk. It's hot enough to make the ocean water warm. Too dang hot. Horribly hot. Hellishly hot. HOT!!

I'm in Denver, over the last few days the highs have been 105,103, 103 and 103 today. 101 tomorrow, then 99 and 97.

Tuesday it's supposed to be 85. :D :D :D

It hasen't been that low in weeks.

hot!!!!!!!!.. around 95 or so, but the heat index is hotter. We went swimming yesterday.........that water was extremely warm!!!!!!!

It's wicked hot here in IL. I'm hanging out clothes on the line, and it's so gross. I reach into the basket, and the clothes are steamy. And I wash everything in cold. Ugh. But it's cheaper than the gas dryer. The good thing is, stuff dries pretty fast. Lucky me. :cool:

Its been in the 90's here for most of the month, we've had one day of rain and tomorrow its in the high 90's with a heat index of 109 and this is Minnesota, I am so sick of the AC and eating out, I want some meat & potato's not any more salads...lol...its too hot to go anywhere and I am bored to tears but my closets and drawers are nice and clean!

I'm in Las Vegas and it says that it's 103 now but feels like 102 and our high is 107. That is quite a change from the 115, but I don't mind, our humidity is at a whopping 20% (which is high for us) and we have a thunderstorm warning, welcome monsoon season. :D I'm not going to complain, I love the hot temps and no humidity and I'm finally at the point that I don't get heat sick every time I step outside, my body is used to the 110+ temps this summer. Not to mention we have a beautiful pool in the backyard that helps keep me cool. :D (everyone is welcome to come use it w/ me!!!)

My best friends moved to Vegas two years ( we are trying to migrate there as well..... perhaps one day!) I was trying to describe the July weather there (my parents loved to gamble and loved taking their 13 + year old daughter w/ them :D ) and I said that it was like sticking your head in the oven after cooking a roast and breathing the oven air :p they, of course, said I was nuts!

Last July she called and said I was soooooooooooo right!


Might I suggest a couple a couple of long island ice teas or mai tai's to keep cool. That will be my remedy this evening after I am done working

Mid to upper 90s.....enough humidity to make you think twice about going outside unless you have to.

On the bright side, we had sunshine all day today, first time in a while. So far this month we've had almost 15 inches of rain.

I do that too! And I also do my stove cooking first thing in the morning and use the microwave to reheat it. That way, the house has time to cool off from cooking before the hottest part of the day hits.:)

UGH The heat index was 115 here today and I don't think there is any relief in site! I swear, if the temps don't hurry up and go down soon, I'm gonna start my own little nudist colony :eek:

Our weather is getting so much better. Instead of 86 on Tuesday, it now says it's going to be 78. We have thunderstorms forecast for the next couple of days.

Hehe, I kid you not, to me it's a bit chilly to be in the pool when it's 80. :eek: Of course the pool isn't heated right now and it would be in the 70's. I don't like to get in the pool unless the temp is 88. ;) :rolleyes: :p

Strange thing...if the temp is in the low 70's I get cold.. In Iowa that is perfect weather. Don't miss the below zero temps and snow, that's for sure! :D

It was beautiful here over the weekend. The humidity was low and a slight breeze. Last night storms came through and early this morning more storms. Now is it cloudy, 80 and the humidity is moving back in.

95 degrees here in Cincinnati. Have no idea what the heat index is. All I know is it's miserable outside. By Wednesday, high of 78 degrees. I bet we have storms to get it cooled down that much.

It's 97 right now which is actually a few degrees cooler than it's been. The heat index is 106 but that too is lower:D Can't believe I'm actually getting excited over a heat index of 106:p

I just got off of the lawn mower :o I didn't have a choice though, my grass had gotten sooooo tall and thick:( I'm soaking wet but I'm almost through cutting. The rest might have to wait till tomorrow though b/c I'm pooped:p

I told him..honey, I hate to break it to you, but it's blue skies here. LOL I looked towards where he was and it was pitch black. He actually had to pull over because of the rain. We got like 3 drops and that was it.

It only got up to 75 degrees today and there was a nice breeze but that's all going to change tomorrow. The forecasters are saying it could get up to 100 degrees and it's supposed to be humid as well which will make it feel warmer. It's been hot and humid for over a week now so it was nice to have a cooler day.

Its 64 degrees!!!! I am doin the happy dance!!! We were supposed to get some storms last night, but it only sprinkled a little (you get any of that Katt?) but there was a cold front behind the storm and we woke up to 64 degrees! After a weeks worth of 100+ this is soooo nice.

Its not supposed to get over 82 today, but we'll see lol

Same here..its so nice today. Been sprinkling rain off and on all day. DD said earlier that she was cold. LOL. I love it! :D
