what do you find in the washer??

I am always finding something in my washing machine when I go to get the laundry out of it.
Here are my finds..........
change
dollars
riffle shells
sunflower seeds
candy wrappers
paper towels
toilet paper
rocks
stickers
crayons
gum
toys
shopping list
lighters

i'm sure there are more if I could remember :p

After I found condums, I told my son it was time for him to start doing his own laundry. :rolleyes:

Other than that, pretty much the same stuff as you do.

crackers in an unopened pkg
lip gloss
guitar picks
cough drops

I once found a turtle .... and the only turtle we have ever had was given to a friend of ours... dunno where this came from and none of the kids fessed up to it! LOL

Kleenex, money, and candy wrappers. Once I washed a roll of paper towels. You don't want to know what a mess it made.

And an ink pen. I think that was the worst.

I live in a big apartment building, we share the laundry room. The last time I went down there to wash clothes, someone had left their clothes in one of the washers. I found $7.00, $2.00, came out of the washer and $5.00, came out of Sweeties shorts after I had washed them. I didn't mind washing clothes that day , I got paid.

change.........mostly pennies, but every once in a while I will get lucky and find a dime or quarter........and on my good days.......$1. LOL

Just the other day I found to BB-sized sinkers from the evening my husband and I went fishing. Chapstick/lipstick and ink pens are the worse.

My husband writes with ink pens, not the ball-point type. Several months ago I found just half of the pen when I put the clothes in the dryer from the washer. I couldn't find the other half and I didn't see any ink on the clothes. Well, when the load was finished in the dryer I found the other half!!! I had ink all over everything. The good thing, though, is I managed to get it all out of all of the clothes (only a few things took two washes...whew!) ;)

My mom probably comes close to or tops the turtle. When I was a little girl the cat that we had loved to lay in the washer or dryer. He would get in it anytime it was opened. Mom was taking clothes out of the dryer, folding them, and then put a new load in. She turned on the dryer and heard THUMP, THUMP, THUMP! The cat was in the dryer!!! Mom opened it after about three "thumps" and the cat shot out like a rocket! I'm not sure if he ever got in the dryer again. Thank goodness he wasn't hurt! :rolleyes:
