Hi

I have never tiried nutri sys but I have done weight watchers and lost 50 pound. That took me 14 months. I like a beer every now and then so I knew it would take me longer to lose my weight. But I have to say I gained back 30 pounds. So I will get back on track and try my own way of dieting. Lot and lots of water, and lots and lots of walking. I love to walk and with my new ipod I cant wait. I will limit my intake of breads and whites things, like rice+ potatoe. But I will exercise 6 days a week. Your body needs one day of rest.....Not at first I am not ready for that. I use to run 5 miles a day . Now I am lucky i can walk to the store...But what ever you choose, you have to stay true to your self.. If you mess up so be it and start again the next day.........
water water water.....

try this site it awesome

Good luck.......

I will start me weight loss advention when I get back from vacation in aug..

I think I will post about it as when i post about what I ate i tend to stay focused. I will also journal my weight loss , i write what i eat and how much exercise i do....

good luck
sorry i wasnt much help

I have never tried nutri system, but I am really picky and know that a lot of their foods I wouldn't eat. When I see things for it, it's always a pack of food that you get that you don't choose, so it would be a waste of money for me... But I know that a lot of celebrities have used this diet and have gotten good results. I think it would be nice having food delivered to you where you didn't have to worry about going to the store and what you were going to make. :)

The best "diet" is....
drumroll please...

changing your eating habits and excercising :)

Yep, what they've been telling us for years really works. I use fitday.com to track my calorie intake. I eat less, but healthier foods. I always feel full, I eat three meals a day and snacks. I don't eat junk, I don't drink soda, I drink at least 32oz of water a day.
And i excercise.
I am using the walk away the pounds dvd's and workout five days a week.

I started May 9th at 155 pounds, size 16/18
and today July 14th I weigh 136 lbs , size 9/10 (and some 8's)

I have a long way to go but I'm down 19lbs in 2 months. I know the other 21lbs will take longer, am estimating another 6 months

well they say soda is a diuretic but not in a good way so for every 12 oz of pop you drink you are suppose to drink 8 oz of water to flush it thru your system.I lost weight last yr without trying I lost 30 lbs but the last few years Ive cut out most of my sugar,Ive cut down on junk foods, almost totally cut out salt except for what is found in foods which is quite enough because you are suppose to have some (iodized salt) in your body because of the iodine in it.(also found in some fishes).I also walked a lot and cleaned a lot.drinking lots of water helps.in nov of 2003 I fell and broke my leg in 2 places and had to have surgery.I was 205 biggest I had ever been.well the dr told me to drink lots of oj and take calcium pills to heal faster.well I noticed a few months later I had lost a lot of weight from drinking a lot of oj.also couldnt get to the kitchen often so Im sure that helped.but anyway I was told oj and grapefruit juice is what some athletes drink when they are trying to lose weight.of course you have to exercise as well.but anytime you can walk do so.its also good for your heart as well.even a 20 min walk will help.I dont bother with nutri systems or weight watchers cause its too expensive.I just cut out sugar, salt.,carbonated beverages even diet ones will pack on the weight.also wheat or multigrain bread is suppose to be better that white bread.also try to stay away from processed meats like bologna, liverwurst etc, they contains lots of salt and fat.fast food of course is also fattening.try oil and vinegar on your salads if you like it.hardly any fat there and the olive oil is also good for you.and as for celebrities doing these diets I dont believe it for one minute cost most celebs have personal trainers and dieticians to help them out.and counting calories is a pain and I found out it doesnt work for me.the more active you are the more your metabolism works and you burn food faster so several small meals a day may be better than just 3 meals.and as with any junk food cravings.you can have some in moderation.hope these ideas help.Ive lost 3 lbs in the last 3 weeks wothout even trying and I have a heck of a time losing weight but no probs gaining it back.

I lost a lot of weight on The Zone.. which if you ask me is not a diet but a healthy way of eating. Keep in mind that just because a certain diet worked for one does not mean it will work for you. Sometimes you have to try different ones to see what will work best for you. Also exercise is key... I do anywhere from 4-6 miles on the treadmill and 30 minutes of pilates daily. I have to do it or my fibromyalgia will flare up... it took me over a year to be able to do the treadmill but like with everything else it takes time. GOOD LUCK!!!!
