We have three HB celining fans and have just recently experienced a problem. We have three fans w/ three remotes and each of them work on all of the fans. Our two downstairs do not have a light fixture w/ them, but the one upstairs does. We've noticed that the remotes will not work on the lights, but works just fine for the fans, has anyone else experienced this? Obviously we feel that it is most likely in the light fixture itself and wondered if we just had to buy another light fixture or if there is something inside the light fixture we might be able to fix ourselves... just curious. Thanks in advance for any replies and suggestions. :)

*sigh* I was so excited to have remotes, especially since we cannot reach the two downstairs, but now it's a pain since we can't just turn the fan or lights on and off w/o the darn remote... whose idea was that? :(

I used to work at a lighting store...and honestly, these systems were never recommended for ceiling fans...only because the remote could send a system that would not "Lock " THe fan in the correct speed frame. This could be happening to you. Make sure you call the company and tell them what is goign on before you just go and buy something new. This could cause a fire.
