We bought 3 bags of apples today for $1 and because they won't last long, I was going to make a dessert I used to make from them, and can't for the life of me remember what it is.
All I remember is that it used apples, tortillias, sugar and butter.. then you baked it. It was soooooooo good and I am craving it so bad right now lol
Any help is appreciated! TIA! :D

I found:
Caramel Apple Tortillas
15 Washington apples peeled, cored, and cut into wedges
1 cup butter
1 cup prepared caramel sauce
15 flour tortillas
Vegetable oil for deep frying
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 quart ice cream
2 cups prepared caramel sauce
3 cups whipped cream
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Saute apples in hot butter until soft and beginning to brown. Stir in caramel sauce and set aside. Prepare crisps: cut tortillas into eight triangles. Deep fry tortilla triangles until crisp and barely golden. Drain on paper towel. Combine cinnamon and sugar in a large zip lock bag; when tortillas have cooled toss in bag and shake gently until coated. Place tortillas on the bottom of a large platter, top with apple mixture. Add ice cream to the top right before serving and garnish with whipped cream, caramel, and nuts.
OR
Apple Burritos (not really what you are looking for, I'm guessing, but threw it in.)
(Makes 12 burritos)
6 large cooking apples 3 tablespoons apple concentrate 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1 teaspoon maple flavoring 1/2 cup raisins, if desired 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, if desired 12 tortillas (recipe follows)
Peel, core, and slice apples. Cook apples in apple concentrate; watch carefully to keep from burning. When tender, add remaining ingredients except tortillas. Let simmer uncovered to take up extra liquid. Place 1/3 cup apple mixture in center of each tortilla. Roll and place seam side down in prepared baking pan. When all burritos are in place, cover with apple syrup (see recipe below). Bake 20-30 minutes at 350[degrees] F. Serve as breakfast or dessert.
and this one:
APPLE STRUDEL MADE WITH TORTILLAS
2 sticks of butter
6 very large, thin tortillas
4 lbs. apples, preferably Granny Smith
1/2 c. sour cream substitute (Imo)
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/8 c. lemon juice
1 c. vanilla wafer or cookie crumbs (optional)
Mix all ingredients, except tortillas, together. Melt the butter, brushing it on one side of the tortillas. Put some apple mixture across the end of the tortilla. Start to roll up the tortilla, brushing it with butter as you go. The rolls will fit into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes
I hope one of these will help you out. :)
