Designer Dog carriers that look like purses.

I have a question about these. I see on T.V. and in magazines people going in stores and restaurants carrying their pampered purse size pooches in with them in these fancy purse style carriers. Is this really allowed? :confused:

Probably only if you're a celebrity. They seem to get away with things that us "regular" people can't. I have seen people like Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton carrying their dogs around like that.
