Little boy has a broken nose

My youngest, who just turned 6, got a Razor Go Kart for his birthday. He was riding it on our cul-de-sac and ran into a parked car. He was wearing a helmet and has on the safety belt. He hit his nose hard. Got a couple of scrapes and a bloody nose. Took him in, got x-rays, the x-ray tech said he thought he saw a fracture. I can read x-rays good enough that I saw the fracture too:( Poor baby:( He says it doesn't hurt too bad, he is being very brave. The doctor was pressing on his nose, I was doing the same thing at home. He took some tylenol. He is getting tired of everyone fussing over his injury. I feel so bad for him:(

I hope he feels better and his nose heals up quickly. :)

Just a thought, though....I believe those Razor Go Karts are for children 8 and older. Perhaps you should make him wait a couple of years before using it again? A child of only 6 years really doesn't have the ability and reflexes to properly navigate streets or sidewalks on a motorized vehicle, even if in a cul-de-sac. He's very lucky he didn't run into a moving vehicle and recieve more severe injuries.
