Yes it is finally time we got the news the other day!!!!!

June 13th my son goes to have a ct scan if everything looks good he will then be scheduled for surgery at which point he will get his infusapot removed!!!! If some of you don't know what this means well let me fill you in, this will mean

WE ARE THAT MUCH CLOSER TO HIM BEING IN COMPLETE REMISSION!!

After 14 surgeries, 13 rounds of chemo, countless blood transfusions, platlet transfusions, shots, too many to count days and nights weeks and months in the hospital, and a stem cell transplant its time for my little boy to be a normal healthy guy!!

WOOOOOHOOOOO I can't stress how excited I am !

Great News!!! Love to read such news. Dot has been fighting leukemia since August 2002...likely much earlier really but August is when we were given a diagnosis after 6 months of searching.

Anyhow...Dot also got a stem cell transplant in Novemeber 2002. Has had very little complications since. She is now doing very well and an active 13 year old so it is possible to get back to "normal" or a new "normal" so to speak.

Mostly, dot has had problems with her hormones but is on a synthroid to correct the current problem. Will likely have some other side effects over the years but most should be a piece of cake to treat comparatively.

We wish you well and good luck. You are not alone.
