I just saw the most horrible thing on CNN.Some poor women lost her three month old baby - the poor thing quit breathing and when she tried to call 911 she could not get connected. Turned out somewhere in the 54 page service agreement from Vonnage it said your 911 calls will be routed to a local authority. All she kept getting was a recording that said "Please hang up and call 911". But the time she got to a neighbors to call, it was too late. Please - if you have internet phone service, find out what will happen in an emergency.

That's so sad. :( I have digital phone service through my cable company. I don't know if that is similar to Vongage or not but if we dial 911 it goes right through.
