What IS it with Ebay Sellers?!

We have been dealing with ebay for YEARS. At least ...oh...I don't know...five or six. I have never had the problems I have had lately. First, one guy never emails us about whether he got the money or not. I email him some three weeks later "oh yeah, I haven't got it." Now, the money order hasn't been cashed, so I go ahead and do paypal. Still haven't got the item though...and feel horrible if the MO was lost in the mail. But why didn't he contact us?

The guy today though...takes the cake. My father won an item for a dollar something. A golf club, he's a collector. When I go to paypal it...there is no shipping charge. Thinking the guy made a mistake I email him. I get the response that of something like "apparently you didn't read the email part of my invoice. I sold this items to a local collector, but was unable to end this auction because you sniped it." Or something similar.

I am so ticked. I reported him to ebay as a nonselling seller, and I hope the idiot gets banned. I am furious!

*hugs* sorry that has happened. I don't deal much w/ ebay and it's stories like this that keep me away. I guess I'd rather go and feel and touch and see the item and get it than take my chances w/ some moron half a country away. That is really shotty though that he sold the golf club knowing he had it on ebay. :mad: He probably was mad that he wasn't making more off of it.. but that is the chance you take, right? Some ppl...

Thanks. You know, I love ebay. And really I've only had three problems in the YEARS we've been dealing there, and this is the only one where we never got an item. I was just in total shock about it. STILL haven't heard from ebay.
