First, I am NOT knocking thrift stores - we have all found GREAT bargains there. But she came in today with a three foot tall stuffed penguin ( maybe part of a Christmas display?) Thing is dirty and moth eaten, but she was "Well, this ISN'T staying here - like it was too good for us. She unplugs the copier and plugs the stuffed bird in. Its head slows moves from side to side and it wings move up and down, etc. After about five minutes is starts a grinding noise and the wings are just jerking around, then it BURST into flames! One of the techs grabbed the extinguisher and puts it out. I had to run for the bathroom I was laughing so hard. I'm sorry, I know its sick, but she is SUCH a snob it was too funny.
