Its very long, so I'll try to be brief. Got up a little late, hurried my shower and drove to the Asian Buffet to have lunch with Mom, Dad, my son, my sister and her daughter. It was wonderful. We had a blast. Daddy was being goofy, which is good.

After lunch, we headed back to Mom's house, where we gave her her presents. She opened the picture and immediately started crying and made us put it up above the mantle. Then she opened the locket with my brother's picture and really lost it. She loves it. She put it on top of the TV so she can look at it every day. She's going to play bingo in WV tomorrow, and she's taking it with her.

THEN... we girls went to an auction. My mother and sister both sew a lot. They bought FIFTY boxes of fabric. Yes. That's right. FIFTY. lol We left it on her porch and went yard sailing. That was a blast. We didn't buy anything. So back to my sister's house. We carried all the boxes into the house (and these were NOT small boxes). I stayed long enough so that they all got seperated so I could move the boxes around. Mom and my sister both have fibro, so they're going to hurt enough as it is.

I got home at 9:00 tonight. DH was cleaning out the cellar, and brought up a bunch of "papers" he thought I might want to keep. I'm looking through them and it blows my mind! He found the judgement paper where he adopted my son in '85. He found my expungement record from '80. He found my second grade grade card. lol He found pictures of the kids when they were little, and the BEST thing he found was MARCY! Marcy was given to me when I was a little girl and had to spend time in the hospital. :D I cannot tell you how THRILLED I was to have her back! : :D :D :D

I had theeeeee most best day!

Linda, I am glad your day was so good. It sounded busy and full of love and good memory makings. And the best of all Marcy...how thrilled you must have been.

Sounds like a wonderful day with family! I envy families who are close and do all sorts of things together. I don't really have that, but I do go to junk sales with my mil when we visit her in another state. I enjoy it and I know she does too!
