My nerves are shot, all I have done is cry for the past 2 days. I feel like I just want to run away for a while.
Heres the story......
I have 3 cats the one just had a litter of kittens 2 weeks ago so I'm wondering how I'm going to get rid of these 5 kittens. I have 2 dogs (rottweilers) and my female is due for a litter next Saturday, so here I am worrying about her and how I'm going to sell these pups...then low and behold my husband goes and gets another dog.. a 5 month old border collie, I've had him for a week now and I just can't take it anymore. We just spent $1200.00 for new carpeting, I told my husband no animals in the house after the carpeting was put in..he agreed, well heres this feaking pup doing his thing all over my new carpet! :( I smack him with a paper and put him outside then all he does is bark and yipe, so I have to listen to that half the day. My other dogs are out in their kennel, I don't even know they are here unless someone comes to the house.
Then to top things off my husband has to have surgery in a couple of weeks and is going to be off from work from 2-4 weeks!
I dont know how I'm going to pay the house payment let alone feed all these animals.
I've just had a couple of really crappy days
If you want this pup or a kitten PLEASE let me know before I lose my mind!

Once the kittens are born and are 6 weeks old. You could put a free ad in the paper. The same with the pups unless your going to sell them then put a for sale in the paper for the pups. If your husband lets you put a free ad in for the dog he just brought home.
Sorry but that is all I can think of to do with the animals.
(((Hugs))) sorry this all happening.

I already have 3 different ads going for all the animals when they are ready on 3 different internet sites. I've had alot of emails on them. I have 2 people interested in the border collie so hopefully he will be gone by this weekend :) if not sooner (I hope!)
I'm just stressed to the max right now.

Its a bit late for this, but they need to be spayed/neutered.
You can take out an ad in a paper, talk to friends of friends of friends, or if all else fails, take them to a shelter.

Oh my mom would KILL for a collie lol. I would definitely take a kitten but my kitty would get jealous, shes so spoiled as it is. I hope everything works out, just relax, you can always find someone to take a cat.

i agree, it might be time to get the cat/s spayed/neutered. i am glad you are trying to find homes for them instead of just killing them like a girl i know did with the kittens her cat had.

In our area Freecycle allows for pet give-away posts. But of course keeping in mind that they need to go to a good home and be sure that they will take good care of it.

This is just my opinion,
I would take what animals you can't handle to the SPCA, or a no kill shelter.
I would be wary of giving you pets away for free. Some sickos do evil things with free pets. I would charge $10, just to be on the safe side.
Definitely get whoever you keep spayed or neutered. They usually have a low fee, or free clinic, just ask a vet around.
I'm a inside cat only person now. I love dogs, but always had terrible luck with them, and had so much destroyed by them, and the vet bills, ect. ect.
Good luck :)

What I don't need are lectures telling me that my pets need to be spayed and neutered I already know this My brother in law is a vet for gods sake. Its coming up with the $$$$ to get it done thats the problem :( I called a couple of local vets and just for a cat its $125.00 We cant do the free thing, my husband makes to much. I'm hoping to make enough off of my rotty pups to get them all taken care of. In the meantime my male cat stays outside and my female stays indoors. Its going to cost me over $500.00 to get them all taken care of.
This, plus the fact that my husband has to have surgery on the 27th and is going to be layed up for 2-4 weeks is all the stress I can handle right now.
I come here for support, not to be put down.

I, myself, was not putting you down. Just giving helpful opinions, which is what you asked for.
It sounds like you have way to much on your plate, give them to good homes, and concentrate on the family, thats most important.

The dogs do to, unless they are specifically going to be used for breeding.

I didn't post that to put you down. You just took it that way. I posted what I thought was good information. I don't know your personal situation, and didn't know if you knew those options were available.

Maybe since your brother in law is a vet he would be willing to do it at a discounted price since you are family. None of his other customers would have to know about it. There are programs such as Spay/USA that you could look into. They don't go by your income. Anyone is eligible. I checked into it but the vet that accepted it was not in my town and I don't drive and couldn't get my cat there so I payed full price. $125 seems like a lot to have a cat spayed. When I got my cat spayed two years ago she also had the felv, fip and a rabies shot and it cost less than that. I don't know about your area but around here when people have puppies for sale they have already had their first shots. People want to make sure that they are buying a healthy puppy.

My BIL lives 3 hours away so thats not possible, my sister did offer to nueter my male cat when she comes up so that is going to save me some money.
My pups will have their first shots, and wormed (which I will do) and the vet will crop the tails, thank gawd that is only $6.00 a pup.
Sorry I went off in my earlier post, its just been a rough week.

In our area we have a Pets Without Parents place that offers low cost spaying or neutering. I had my cats done there and it was $30 per cat. They also will take kittens. Some pets stores will even take the kittens for you at no charge to you.
Good luck and hope things improve for you.
