99 9+9=18 - 99 = 81
98 9+8=17- 98 = 81
and so on

67 6+7 = 13 - 67 = 54
68 6+8 = 14 - 68 = 54

39 3+9 = 12 - 39 = 27
36 3+6 = 9 - 36= 27

81, 54 and 27 all have the same symbols and so on :D

Aren't you the smart one!!! Your theory is great and I assuming absolutly correct, since I myself have no clue. But how does the computer know which number you will pick to start with. Not doubting you at all, but would appreciate if you could explain in a bit of detail since I am very slow...lol...I appreciate it.

She is saying no matter how you pick your number then you will always come up with an answer revolving around those numbers

if you pick 35 3+5=8-35=27

89 8+9=17-89=72

72 will have the same symbol as the others. Basically mathmatically you can't come up with the other numbers I believe you can only come up with the numbers

It doesn't matter what number you pick to start with, there are only certain numbers that you will end up with. Because the number you are subtracting increases each time by the same amount that your beginning number does, you will end up with the same answer. All possible answers have the same symbol. Does this make sense?

yep that's it exactly.

99-18=81
98-17=81
97-16=81
96-15=81
95-14=81
94-13=81
93-12=81
92-11=81
91=10=81
90-09=81
89-17=72
88-16=72
see the pattern? so 81, 72, 67, 66 etc will all have the same symbol on every card

If you notice everytime you try it again the symbols change?They shift so that every possible combo comes up with the same symbol??hmmmmmmm

ahhhhhh Now I get it. I never thought about that. My dad was a math wizard and he would have most likely figured it out too. :) It makes you think.
