Once again I’d like to thank my family for SCREWING ME OVER!! Obviously I am a masochist. Cause I keep going back.
Every time I get things going my way. My family finds a way to throw a monkey wrench. Y’know I thought family was supposed to help family. More the fool me.
So, I call my sister who SAYS she has been “calling twice a day for the past week” which I am quite dubious about. So I call her to let her know my DD got her grade card.
((happy mum moment : her reading is in the 99% as a 1st grader she is reading at nearly a 5th grade level. her math is almost 2 full years beyond her grade. 91%. those percents as apposed to other kids same grade that were tested!! YAY ))
anywho...I tell her mom is watching the kids while I go to school. So then I tell her, dumb butt I am tell her my girl has lice...well that was bloody brilliant now wasn't it. Cause STRAIGHT the hell after she hangs up with me. She calls our mum and "talks" her out of watching my kids.
Now I understand. She is afraid mum will get em, HELLO!! Me, DS & DD sleep in the same tiny lil room, they bunk beds, me my bed. And neither son nor I have gotten them yet. Clue bird miss my sister or what?
*BIG SIGH* so once again I am left to scramble how to get someone to watch my kids so I can go to class…
so mom called me later. THE DAY BEFORE MY CLASS SODDING ((night time, leaves me less than 24 hrs to attempt to find someone)) to let me know she can't do it cause she talked to my sister and not to be mad at her or sister..WTF? what AM I supposed to do ? hmm? pat my sis on the back and tell her how much I enjoy taking it in the rear? And people wonder why I had my sphincter muscle replaced with a DRAWSTRING????
Hell yes I am angry with HER (SIS) not mum. Mum is elderly and Kind of goes along with whatever the most dominant one says. As I wasn't in the room or on the phone with em sis got her to NOT watch my kids.
Yeah and sis has her **** all squared away...good husband, nice house, good job. Yeah huh. Every friggin time it looks like I might be getting my stuff together my DEAR *note the sneer in my voice* Family, screw me every time!
Do these people imagine that I’ve any other options? Do they think I would want to expose mom to this? HELLO!! Mom has been here several times over the past few weeks, and she's not gotten them yet!! Bet she didna tell sis that though.
my sister always goes " well what kind of back up system do you have in place?" WTF?? WHAT BACKUP SYSTEM??? See DSIS that requires $$, YOU may have it but I do not. So. Backup? What is that? I get the job done as best I can no matter the sitch. GET A CLUE!!
Though I suppose I SHOULD thank you...I now know I can't count on mom either. The one person I always thought would have my back has failed me...at YOUR urgings. I won't make that same mistake EVER again.
I WILL get through this CLASS!! I will GET my DEGREE!!, I will GET a GREAT job!! AS FAR AS I CAN BLOODY WELL GET AWAY FROM YOU PEOPLE And STILL BE IN THIS COUNTRY!!

Hell another Goddess Blessed CONTINENT IS LOOKING BETTER & BETTER! Wonder if there is a nursing shortage in AUSTRALIA????

There are nursing shortages everywhere. You can basically choose where you want to go and what hours you want to work. Keep working towards that degree. You will be the one who comes out on top.

Welll lice is curable, not like a fatal disease. Get rid of them and then tell your mother they are gone and no more. She can't get them cause you don't have them.

People who take in foster kids get the lice problem all the time. Use the lice soap or whatever the doc says to use and end of problem.

I used to have the same problem. I was the baby and my oldest sis used to sabatoge me to. She was just jealous. I know it sounds petty but I found out she really was. So I became the dominant one. I would jack my Mom up when she pulled crap on me because of dearest sis. Then when my Mom needed me, I pulled the same s**t back. (I know it sounds mean but it got results).
I was supposed to take her to the doctor for an appointment. I would call my sis and find out what she was doing at that time. If she was busy, I'd cancel on mom at a few hours before her appointment and blame it on something my sis had said. Turn around is fair play. It is years later and my Mom and I are very close and big sis is in Hawaii working as a nurse with her beach house and hubby. Only to find out that her husband has no friends, has the neighbors signing petitions against him and hasn't had a job in 10 years. Though thru the years she plays like her life is perfect. Maybe your sis is doing the same because you are actually having and living the life she wants. Get a back bone and get manipulative. It will only be for a little while I assure you.

and i WILL get that darn degree if it take me 50 yrs.. *i realy hope not quite that long* but still. :D
i mean i truly do udnerstand we don't want mom to get these things..i get it. but damn.
one of my long time (19 yrs)freinds tonight he somehow "knew " i was feeling down. you shoulda seen what happened to me when he had a kidney stone..it felt like i had a kidney infection..:D payback for when i had the kids...cause i know he felt that!! *ROTFL* i am so going on bout this...oh well..
ah well; things are looking better.
