Hey gang...I got an e-mail the other day and thought it was suspicious, so I didn't do as it asked-then forgot about it-but tonight, worried it might have been real, so I checked my PayPal acct and all was fine-they didn't 'terminate my account' for NOT replying within' the 24 hours the e-mail stated! SO...I checked the PayPal site and sent them the e-mail I got to their 'spoof-e-mail' link and just got a reply back that it IS indeed a fradulant e-mail and they are investigating!!
Below is the 'FRAUD e-mail' and below that, the reply I just got back from PayPal.
~~~~~~~~~
Subject line from FRADULANT PayPal e-mail:
Now, also take note that this e-mail I got looks JUST LIKE IT IS FROM PAYPAL!! But it IS NOT!!!So be careful and if you EVER suspect an e-mail from PayPal is not what it seems, then go to theor site and get the link to notify them of the e-mail in question-they ask that we forward the e-mail to them at the 'spoof' e-mail link they have listed.
