Huge Tax Protest in Pennsylvania
Be There: Wednesday, April 13

Bob Durgin is a talk show host on WHP580 in Harrisburg, PA. He has the 3 pm to 6 pm time slot every day, Monday thru Friday. WHP 580 is a powerful, 50,000 watt, Clear Channel station.

Durgin is using his 3-hour daily allotment of talk time on WHP580 to promote a huge tax protest event he has organized for April 13, 2005. The event will take place on the steps and the lawns of the State Capitol in Harrisburg, beginning at 3 pm.

WHP 580, with Durgin at the microphone, will broadcast the "Citizens Against Tyrannical Taxation" event
live from the steps of Pennsylvania's capitol building.

Taking cues from previous anti-tax rallies such as those held in 2001 and 2002 in Tennessee that successfully forced Tennessee’s state legislature to abandon the idea of enacting a state income tax, Durgin is hoping to mass thousands of people on the steps of the Pennsylvania state capitol to educate the public and protest the income tax fraud and the government's refusal to address the issue.

WTP Chairman Bob Schulz will be appearing at the event and is urging everyone to be in Harrisburg with their families, to show their support for the message being sent that day to the state and federal governments – that is, that the People will tolerate neither a tax system that violates the fundamental Rights of the People nor a government that refuses to answer the People’s Petitions for Redress of those Grievances.

Other prominent Tax Honesty leaders and Rights groups will also be participating.

WTP is working with other groups in the preparation of thousands of information packets and is making arrangements for a tent, tables and the erection of several bill-board sized banners. WTP volunteers are needed to distribute educational materials at the event. The event takes place at the state capitol in downtown Harrisburg from 3-6 PM on Wednesday, April 13.

Additional details regarding WTP pre-event meetings and organizational details will be provided at a later time. For additional information contact the WTP Congress Pennsylvania State Coordinator, Elizabeth Woods.

We encourage you to spread the word about this important event.
