Meaningless ? of the day - what is the strangest

thing you have ever seen just lying around? This morning as I was walking to work, I saw a bowling ball lying in the gutter in fromt of someones house. got to wondering just how a bowling ball end up in the street. Anyway, whats the strangest thing you have seen just abandoned somewhere?

A pair of shoes tied together and thrown across a power line....................HOW DID THEY GET THEM UP THERE LIKE THAT????

Well I have seen shoes tied and thrown over power lines lots of times.
I have seen what looked like used condoms in parking lots like Wal-Mart where families go. I have seen dirty diapers left in parking lots. What is strange to me is to see one shoe lying on the side of the road seen that a few times as well. I saw a bedspread on the side of the road once another time a lamp shade.

condoms-see them every so often on the side of the road-car sex?

weed-smokeable kind in little baggy on the side of the road-evading the police?(i picked that up and got rid of it so no kid would get ahold of it)

an engine- what happened to the car? how'd it get away?

i walk alot so i have seen lots of strange things, dirty diapers-i figure it smelled so bad they throw them out of the car? used tampon-i'm not sure i can explain that one-may be back to car sex? lots of 1 shoe, 1 glove,1 sock,toys,beat up old clothes,pacifiers. i also use to work for a recycling center-they brought in peoples garbage and company dumpsters for us to sort out into stuff that could be recycled-we found money all the time. we were allowed to keep whatever we found as long as it was not any kind of medicine,any ID, or any weapon. ID's and weapons had to be turned into the office. My friend found a human hand!! they had to shut down the whole place and get the cops in.

My friend had worked there a long time and some of his family worked there-they still might i have not seen him in years. i had just stopped working there so i was not there for the... excitement? i don't know if they ever figured out who's it was-they get trash in from lots of cities and it's hard telling.
When i was little, like 5, we lived in houston and we went to see my uncle and the police were taking a dead body out of the pond by his apartment building, it was right there by the parking lot. but i think that kind of thing happens more than we know, and i'd rather come across a whole body than just happen across one pice-i don't know why it just seems creepier to find like a toe or something.

One part of a road near us looks like a dead opposom crossing, both sides of the road. ONce when I went to the grocery store way across town, there was a shoe in the road, the next block a shirt, the next block briefs, the next block another shoe, etc. till whoever was wearing it had to be naked. :eek:

Ok shoes on a wire wasnt wierd enough..............lol

Heres two though:

1) Not wierd, but very bazaar! The fiance and I found used condoms, lolly pop wrappers and handcuffs under the back seat of his used car purchase! (Got its use well, but it was a former POLICE car!!)

2) Wierd.............I went to a friend's house, and her neighbor actually had a chair and clock in her tree on the front lawn!!

Is that better for wierd???? lol :)

Shoes on interstate..

There'll be just a boot sitting in the middle of the road. Who loses a shoe in the middle of the road?

A condom at a Civil War battle field.

Assorted large electronics out in the country. (Washing machines, fridges etc)

Went to subway last week and you step up two steps before you go into the store. There on the top step was a black dress shoe(hi-heel) just sitting there.Looked almost new. Strange only one.

ok.....something like a car engine hanging out of a tree. (ste gen. county, MO)
shoes up in powerline.
A tree full of soda cans (decoration??) in arkansas.
Tree full of corks. We call it the "cork tree" we know how those got there though.

Just up the road from us is a motorcycle hanging in a tree. It's been there for years. Has a sign hanging from it "Jap Scrap"

i get the engine hanging out of the tree-people use trees to lift out engines when they replace them thier selves, i have even helped do this before. you just tie a rope or chain around a strong branch, than you can use it for leverage to pull out the engine. now why they left it up there is beyond me-can you say redneck? they could have taken it and got money for it from a scrap yard.
