 Just in a bummed out mood, today recieved a present that had special meaning to me, it is kinda personal so I wont go into more detail, but it was somewhat valueable, a member of my family RIGHT In front of me said "How much are you going to pay you for that, I dont know why you would ever give it to her ((me)) anyways, she sure doesnt deserve it." Kinda like being punched in the stomach because this is a person that I am close with and care for a great deal, recentily she has been constatly arguing and bickering with everyone, saying mean and nasty comments like that. Now I have the present but also have a nasty feeling in my stomach kinda like I am going to puke, I tried not to let that ruin it for me, but it is. Yeah, yeah, I know that it is my fault that I let it be ruined, but I am still sad because I was so happy and excited about this item. Small petty vent and whine I know :o

I know exactly where you're coming from. My "brother", who has chosen not to speak to me since 1996, has recently gone to my Aunt and complained that the china hutch should stay in the family.... HELLO??????
He didn't even bother with the aunt for God knows how many DECADES. He's jsut pissed because I decided to finally speak up and claim what was mine from when my grandparents passed.

Any how, I feel for you.... ENJOY YOUR GIFT and ignore those who are jealous - they just want what you got.
