View Full Version : Gevalia....boy are they crooked!
I ordered a few items from Gevalia back in the end of January and I got a postcard on March 11 telling me that it was backordered and to let them know if I wanted to wait or not. I e-mailed them on the 15th to cancel and what do they do...they ship the order out anyhow on the 18th and claim to have NEVER gotten an e-mail from me. They charge my account and now refuse to credit the account. They claimed it was shipped and here it is the 30th and I have not recieved anything from them. I think they are full of crap and just want to get money. I have filed a complaint with BofA and they are supposed to look into this for me. Not only did they charge me account but they charged almost double what they were supposed to and the account I used is my home account for bills and things (not my main) and it over drew the account and I have now by the time I noticed $60 in INSF fees!!! I am PO'ED!! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

I'm so sorry you had such a bad experience with them. I, on the other hand, have had nothing but good experiences. I absolutely love their coffee and the programmable coffee maker they sent me for free. They do have sales calls sometimes, but I find them MUCH less agressive than all other sales calls. I hope you get it worked out. :)

Over a year ago I did one of their special things they do. I got a coffee pot and coffee for like 10.00 I think it was. I went to there website and found a place to cancel and canceled like that. I didn't send a email though. I never got anything else from them once I did that. I had no problems with them.
I have thought of trying to do another one with them but haven't yet.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience w/them. My husband is addicted to Gevalia coffee! We have been on & off members(mostly on)for years.
We, so far, have had really good service.
Try calling the 1-800-#. They usually are very helpfull.

Is Planet feedback still around? You could report them on there. Send them the letter you write. Then maybe they will fix the problem.

Call Gevalias 1-800, explain the situation, right down the name and extension number of the person that you are talking to, if this fails then call your credit card company and dispute the charges, this will get Giveals attention!
