Hi all,

Remember aways back about my friend that committed suicide due to having M.S. (Multiple Sclerosis)? Well this year I have decided to honor him and ALL having it. I am participating in the North Carolina 3 day/50 mile walk and need to raise pledges. I will provide the link...can you provide the heart? I truly believe we can find a cure. I would appreciate whatever you can do. No amount is too small or too large! WE need YOUR help!!! Here is my pledge link and personal page. Click submit and do it! THanks so very much!

Just one question: It says on the site that each person must raise a minimum of $1500. So what happens to the donated $ if you don't reach that minimum goal? Thanks.

Thanks jkatherine. In answer to your question, the money STILL goes to the MS Society. But ultimately I AM responsible for getting that money amount regardless. I hope this helps!!

i will donate if i can. i just started a new job and money is tight, but i will try. one of my friends has this, it sucks.

also wanted to let folks know I have pledge forms that dont require you to use a cc...I can mail them to any who would like them. No amount is too small...

Question......In order to walk then you have to meet a $1500 requirement? Or am I misunderstanding? Thanks

no you walk regardless, but we do have to follow thru our commitment of the pledge amount either by raising it or paying it ourselves somehow.

Can you tell us how much you have raised so far. Are you far off your goal. Also when are you walking? :) :) :)

Super! Thanks!!! If you click my links it shows my stats...and since I kinda just began I am way short!!! The walk is scheduled June 3 - June 5th

This may sound really stupid but how long do you have to raise this money? Because if you have a little bit and you have a shareadspace account you could have us all click and donate the money towards it, it wouldn't be much but it would be something. That way people who don't have much money could help out also. Stupid suggestion but I'm still bumping it up!

You can go to www.shareadspace.com and sign up. Its a little confusing to use at first but basically when people click on a link the site gives you, it gives you credits which are redeemable for cash. No minimum payout. I've made quite a bit off of this site, and I think it might be a good way for everyone to help out with this. It would only take a click a day and people would be earning money for this great cause.

Well folks I am now Just DAYS away from the challenge! Its not too late to donate. I leave home thursday afternoon at the meeting place. Will start walking at 7:00 am Friday morning til 7pm fri nite. Then will start walking again at 7:00 am sat morning til 7pm sat nite. Then start walking at 7:00 am SUn until reach the finish line.
