Awwww that is so sweet of you Sherry. Ok, well I have the best kids lol **on a good day anyway!
Samantha age 5 her good deed was when I was in labor with bruce, she brought me all kinds of pictures and perfume, she even sprayed me lol. Then once he was bnorn, she told me she would change all of his diapers, except the poopy ones, casue they are "gross", well she helps me change him, by bringing me diapers, wipes, ect. She also puts the dishes away, she is such a big help, dont know waht I would do with out her!!
And Emily age 3
When we got all this darn snow, emily went out with her itty bitty sholvel lol, and helped her daddy "
clean" off the driveway and steps. I think she got one step done to daddys whole driveway, but hey it was a BIG help lol!

Our next door neighbor just had a baby 2 weeks ago, and Casey, age 8, goes over after she finishes feeding our cats to see if there is anything she can do to help. She brings in the mail, feeds their cats, helps Amy fold baby clothes and puts them away, picks up stuff for her, just helps out however she can after school.
I think she really wants a baby sibling, but thats not possible.

My boys are 10, 6 & 4 and they donated toys and clothes to a family a few miles from here who lost everything they owned in a fire.

My almost 3 year old dd's favorite words around the clock are "Me help." It is hard to pick out a single good deed, because she does so many of them. I'd say the most funny, but best way she helped me out was at a Lenten Church dinner. She ate all of her veggies on her plate at the buffet style church dinner, consisting of ham, potatoes, etc, without complaint. She then noticed that I was not eating all of mine. She looked at me very seriously, and took her work, reached for my veggies, and said "Feed mommy veggies, or mommy get sick* She then fed me all of my veggies. I guess what is good for the goose is good for the gander. (I had not eaten veggies, because I was busy helping her cut up her food, etc.) The fact, though, that she loves her mom that much to make sure I eat mine was endearing. It also made the whole church fellowship hall laugh. My vegtables were soon all gone.

;) Don't know if this is a good deed but very very sweet none the less ;)
My son age 6 (7 on Monday he told me to tell ya) went over to my parents house, we live right next door to them and he walks over there by himself well when he leaves their house he asks my mom and always my mom to watch him walk back home when its getting dark out. Well my mom was getting over being sick and the night he went over there when he was getting ready to leave her house, he says Gramma will u watch me go home, then he says well papa will you watch me instead so my dad said yes and got up to go to the door and my son started out the door then turned around and told my mom Gramma I just don't want you to be in the cold outside and getting sick again, he wanted to make she she understood why he asked my dad and not her that day.
My daughter age 4 goes to daycare during the day well yesturday a mother was touring her daycare for her little baby who was born with some deforming features. My daughter walked up to the baby and I could tell the mother was waiting for my daughter to ask what happened to the baby but rather my daughter bent down and started rubbing the baby's head and said you are soo cute and turned and looked at the mom and said ur baby is so bootiful (lol she meant beautiful, lol) the mother looked at my daughter and said well ur "bootiful too" saying it the way my daughter said it and my daughter walked away just giggling, then the mother told me she was just the sweetest little angel and I must be proud! And I am proud of both my kids!! ;) :)

Lets see: Megan makes coasters and puts them in getwell cards for people who are sick. When her dad was on his rampage the other week she told him to leave me alone!

My Daughter Destiny is 4 and half..she loves to help me.... infact gets upset if I don't let her..LOL.. (lets hope that trait sticks with her..lol) Well in Dec I had to have a Hysterectomy.. it was a while before I could do some of the basic things like bending to get the clothes from the dryer.. so Destiny insisted on helping.. as soon as she would here the buzzer she would come running.. she wouldn't let anyone else do it..lol.. Hubby got a few pics of her helping.. she is so proud that she is a big girl now and can help mom.

Shea's..you horrible woman, I am so available to help, you didn't ask me too, I wanna..this caught my eye, and since you aren't on, I will publically go in on this, if you allow it.. especially, (sp) since you kept spelling "entries", as "entree's", darling dearest, we are, "partner's in crime"..lemme in on this, we can turn this into 4 winner's..come on SHEA'S..LEMME IN..I am knocking at your door, sweetheart.
PS., she will get why I say she is "horrid", no flames needed, we have done good deeds before, I have had a "bit of a go", she know's about..BUT try to VOTE me in on this effort, if she allow's it, it makes chances HIGHER, she is the "picking person", this time, I am only gonna provide what is necessary to make it happen, even if it come's to sending PAYPAL, to make all of it happen, but I can be a shopper, and in the "nick of time", show up RIGHT ON TIME..X-mas got me a SIGH of relief, not only only SHEA'S...

Dear bbf members, my name is jessica, i am 9 years old. The reason i should win is because i have been helping my mom, who has had pneumonia, and I have been helping with my little brother too. My mom also has a bad spot on her lung, we don't know what it is yet. I have had the flu and have helped anyway cause my mom needed me to, it has been very hard, but I done it. It would be very nice if I was to win. :p
Hi this is Jessicas mom. She has been such a big help to me. I don't think I could have made it with out Jessies help. She has been a Little grown up, taking my temp. and getting me drinks, meds, and anything eles she thought might help me. She deserves to win, plain and simple. She has had more on her than any nine year old should ever have. Thank for the chance to enter this contest.

Just wanted to add my little Angel in here.
She has a God given ability to detect when people are feeling bad and just needs some love.
In Sept last year, Her Grandfather was in a car accident. He was hurt pretty bad. He couldnt hardly walk. We went down everyday to help out cause they are elderly and have a disable daughter also. Anyways, Tracy was His little nurse. She would bring Him His meds bottles, get His drinks, even when it came time to change the bandage on His leg, She was right there when everybody else ran off. She would give Him the tape and hold the scissors. The most important thing that She done though was everynight I would hear Her praying that Her Poppa get better soon.
She is my Angel.

WARNING THIS IS A TEAR JERKER
This just happened to my family and I don't call it a good deed but dh said I should enter Julia anyways. I call it more like stepping up...sob...sob...sob....
Well, I am already crying thinking about my darling dearest wonderful 10 year old daighter Julia ( daddy calls her Genius Jules...LOL) Well, last week as some of you know our 7 month old dd came down really sick. We were admitted to the hospital on Saturday because of an ecoli infection. (didn't know a baby could get this) I was concerned because my hubby can't cook kids foods to save his lfe( he can cook fine foods thjough with great skill....lol Don't ask....LOL) Julia, who is very mature for her age said "Momma it will be okay because we have been learning to cook with you so I can handle it." I just had to laugh. So today I come home and my dh listed everything she had done EVERYDAY!! He said she was like the little momma around the house. Of course dh had to help her out with some of it but he said mostly she did it on her own. I'm so proud. She will make a wonderful dw and mommy someday. Heres parts of his letter to me.

SATURDAY
Jules cooked Macaroni & cheese, chicken patties and corn for dinner
She got Livvie in the tub while Jearbear played a game after his shower
Jules got them each some carrott sticks with PB
at 8:00 she got Livvie in bed WITH no crying (MOMS NOTE: this in itself is a feat as she cries for at least an hour every night)
at 8:30 Jules folded the laundry that you had in the dryer.
at 9:00 Jules fell asleep on the couch
SUNDAY
Jules was up before everyone else. She got Jearbear and Livvies clothes for church ready.
She woke me up with a bowl of oatmeal and a bannana and said she turned my coffee pot on.
She got Jearbear and Livvies cereal and milk and OJ ready and got them out of bed.
Jules got them ready for church and we had a great time. We miss you honey and baby girl.
OKAY now I am crying elephant tears again. My family is wonderful.
After church Jules wanted to take a nap so I made the 3 kids each a Ham and cheeze sandwich and chicken in a biscuit crackers. I also threw the laundry in the washer.
Jules gets up and put the laundry in the dryer and dishes in the dishwasher. I am amazed at what a good girl you have raised Kelly.
Jules made a great dinner I couldn't have made it taste so good. Almost as good as her mommas cooking. She made what she called Potatoe bake.
It tasted great she used some mashed potatoes, shredded cheese and hamburger.
She did the dinner and I had to pry her away from the sink in order for me to do something so she didn't make me look so bad. I hate when she does that to daddy. I did the dishes and found her in Livvies room reading I love you stinkyface to Livvie. Livvie feel asleep and I let Jules watch a movie before she went to bed. She wants to be just like her mommy I can see it babe! I'm so thankful that God sent you to me.
I LOVE YOU!

Can you say I have an awesome dh. Tonight I am going to take Julia out for dinner and a new outfit with just mommy. Its a surprise but I am so excited she really deserves it.

Not really a good deed... just a sweet little boy.
Last week I was in a meeting trying to get help for my bipolar daughter. I had to take my 4 year old, Javon, with me. I started crying and my litle guy starts holding me and told me it would be OK. He said "I love you Mommy, I'll take care of you". A woman in the room gave me a tissue. I wiped my eyes with it. Javon wanted to throw it away for me. I told him I would just hold on to it in case I had more tears. Javon grabbed it and threw it away. He then said "that's ok, you can just use my shirt".
what a nice idea for a contest!
my son is 6 and will be 7 on march 17th. he is a very sweet boy, always has been. he gets good grades and is always the best behaved kid in his class. when ever he gets money he wants to buy something for his sisters or for me, he was given a gift certificate to walmart last christmas and his cart was filled with stuff for every one but him. when i asked him what he wanted for his birthday he asked if he could get presents for all the people who come to the party instead. but the main reason i am entering him in the contest is because he works as a volunteer at the local food bank, packing boxes of food for needy families. it started as a one time thing to get an elective credit for cubscouts(he's a tiger cub) but after he was done i showed him the line of people getting food, it was getting close to thanksgiving so thier were quite a few, and i told him how those people were getting to eat because he was there to pack the boxes. he decided that he wanted to go every day! but they only do it once a week. but i also volunteer there and he has helped me several times on other things, including setting up for banquets-they have banquets and a restaurant to raise money and i went to school for restaurant management. he is pretty good at setting up tables. he is really a great kid. he is also involved with the salvation army where he attends thier learning zone, boys club, and bible study.

I have a 4 year old granddaughter Hayley who lives with me and she is such a sweetheart and helps me all the time with anything she can since she knows I can not do alot of things when my arthritis bothers me, she can fold clothes, set the table and a bunch of other things But the best thing about Hayley is she understand not being well because she has heart problems herself (she had an operation on her heart when she was 2). When she knows (she hears me talk about it) someone is sick or not feeling well or just upset about something she will ask to go on the computer and write them a letter (she writes to our family and even my friend on the web she now knows which letter belongs to the person) She will write what she thinks is a nice letter but you have to remember she is 4 and don't know how to spell (she knows how to type hi, bye and her name) so people get this email with a bunch of letters that says nothing at all, but not one person ever thought it was silly and everyone she sents letters to tell me it made them happy to get the letters and thinks she is a sweetheart for doing it and it make their day. I am very proud of her.
