I made a huge dinner last night so I think I am going to keep it simple tonight..
browned ground beef in gravy over rice
veggies
rolls
chocolate chip cookies for dessert :p

I don't have to work today so I'm going to make something a little more time consuming than usual....
Parmesan Chicken Fingers
Salad
Bread Sticks
Canned Fruit of some kind
No Dessert...trying to lose weight, athough the husband will be sure to have his cookies and milk before bed

Never made the Chicken before...hope it's good ;)

That's what I made last night the browned ground beef in gravy over rice. I made to much so it is leftovers tonight.

chicken baked in a bag with carrots potaotes and cranberries (fresh)
lil rosemary... tyme....

im thinking of doing an orange glaze for the bird.... i got oranges and juice....


im a fan of those oven bags....

leftovers are going to become soup for my cold...

I have leftover chicken that I cooked in the crockpot yesterday. So today I'll be making chicken soup with it.

dh threw away the instructions for it 13 years ago... yes i have had it that long... i barely use it...

Well we didn't eat the leftover spaghetti sauce yesterday so I guess that will be our supper today.

Yesterday we ended up eating hot ham & cheese sandwiches instead of the spaghetti. lol

Keeping it really simple tonight.. ham and cheese omelettes. I never have time to cook a large breakfast during the week before the kiddos head to school, so I have to cook breakfast sometime! :D

Yes, You can. The only thing I don't like about making it in the crockpot is the grease. The whole time it cooks I skim it off the top. Another downside is doesn't get browned on the top.

I cook mine for 5 hours on high, and it's a 3 pounder.

I made vegetarian chili (super spicy with jalapenos), butterscotch and chocolate chunk cookies, and the vegetarian four cheese lasagna is baking now. I'll have salad or coleslaw, buttermilk rolls, and some veggie with the lasagna.

I made the cookies using a recipe off the Nestle Toll House bag on the chocolate chunk chips. I imagine any chocolate chip recipe would be fine though.The recipe is as follows:

2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 cup chocolate chip chunks
1 cup butterscotch chips
(It was orignally 1 3/4 cup chocolate chip chunks, but I decided to improvise with the butterscotch chips)
1 cup nuts (I didn't include them!)

Preheat oven to 350*

Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in large bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, then add flour mixture. Stir in choclate chunks and butterscotch, nuts if wanted. Drop rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cooking sheets. Bake for 9-11 minutes or unto golden brown.
