I went to Atlanta today to the capitol. It was Mental Health Day at the Capitol. We were there to advocate and have lunch with the legislators. By many weren't there. The one I wanted to meet the most showed up, I got to meet her and spoke with her and got my picture taken with her. I am just thrilled. Just wanted to share with you all.

That's great Mary. I know you are involved with the mental health stuff for SD and looks like you are meeting folks that can make a difference. You go girl. Hope it's fruitful.

Thank you everyone. I am very thrilled and honored that I was invited to go and represent NAMI Georgia. The worse part is that I am to old for heels...lol...my feet are still killing me..hehe.

I can't wear heels either, weak ankles. But there are some really nice flats or less than 2 inch heels out there. Hush Puppy makes some nice sensible and comfortable shoes that don't look like old lady shoes. I've worn them for years. Soak your feet in a large roaster pan of very warm water and epson salt that you can buy in the drugstore and some grocery stores. Cheap. It's like a miracle foot bath. :)
