I got the homecafe in late dec. from the bzz campaign. I tried it out and it was okay except fot the fact that I don't like Folgers. I used it until all my coffee pods were gone and then I switched back to my regular coffee maker.

Then one morning my coffee maker breaks. So I pulled the homecafe out again and go buy the millstone coffee pods. Everything is great. I am loving this machine ( ok so having to heat the water up first is a pain but I can deal)

Then yesterday I made myself another wonderful cup of coffee with my amaretto coffeemate :) Then about 30-45 mins later I go to make another cup and the machine won't work. I change outlets, try pushing different buttons to no avail. This thing is dead!!!

So now I have all these coffee pods and nothing to use them in. No wonderful cup of coffee in the morning until this weekend.

I sure am glad that I didn't have to shell out the $60 for this coffee machine just for it to die 2 months after I get it.

Hey,send bzz a e-mail telling them what happen. Mine started leaking water all over the place and I e-mailed bzz and complained and I got a new one. This one works great-just tell them and they will replace it.

I think there is something about them on the home page of bzzagents, isn't there? A link where you can contact the company or something. Sorry it quit working, we love ours!

I emailed black and decker and have yet to hear back from them. And I also contacted bzzagent and they told me that they were sorry and I do not have to bzz a product that I am not satisfied with. And then they told me to call black and decker.

If I can get it replaced that would be great. But if not that's okay because it's not like I went out and bought it, it was free to me.

I certainly won't reccomend that people buy one though. If after 2 months of having it , the thing just stops working.

Did you check to make sure the lever for the pod holder is closed all the way....this happened to me one day and i thought it was broken, but realized the pod lever was not pushed back all the way.

I bought one at Target, and it started leaking so I took it back and got another one--it did the same thing. Returned it and got one of the Juan Valdez ones, and I love it!! The pod cup is a little smaller, so the home cafe pods have to be poked in there just right, but the Melitta ones are perfect! They fit (and taste) better than the JV ones!

Speaking of which, I have 2 boxes of Light Roast and 1 box of Medium Roast JV coffee pods which I would LOVE to trade for a darker roasted kind. Any interest, pm me please!
