I keep losing my key baoard

My keyboard quits responding. a lot latly. But if I unplug it and plug it back in it comes back in a few seconds. any advice?

Just a question, you're turning off your comp before unplugging or plugging it back in? If not this is called hot swapping and you could be doing major damage to your port. You may just need a new keyboard, you can get a nice one now for under $10.
