Its been the first year in a long long time that my kids didn't get sick in the winter. Well at 7am my son wakes up crying he has a sore throat and has a bit of a croupy cough! So we almost made it through this winter without neither of my kids getting sick. I think I might have to call into work. My first time calling in, but its worth it to take him to prompt care to make sure he doesn't have the whooping cough or the start of it. It has been going around bad. Honestly if anything I would rather him have strep before he has the whooping cough.......and not to get anyone confused I would really rather it be nothing more then a minor morning dryness of the throat! But anyway I gave him a frozen juice cup and that seemed to help a bit but he still isn't feeling too well.
