I'm new to this Valentine's Day box making thing. I'm not creative or artsy and I have to help my 5 year old son make one for school for tomorrow's party. I am truly clueless.
Does anyone know of a site or two where I can get some ideas/pictures?
I'd really like something boyish. :)
TIA

Get a cardboard box and spray paint it red. Then glue "'conversation hearts" to it - they are many colors. Sounds boyish to me. Good luck :)

What about this idea. They used to make a heart shaped box of chocolate for a man. Instead of the usual lace and ribbons, they fixed the top of it to look like a tux. All you would have to do is get some white contruction paper and some black contruction paper. The white would be the shirt and the black could be cut out to resemble a bow tie and lapels. You could even glue small buttons on the shirt front to make it look more realistic.

Take a tissue box and cover it with wrapping paper, turn it were the white side is showing. Then you can decorate it with hearts or whatever. You can also cover the box with red tissue paper. Cut the paper at the top where the tissues normally come out and fold it back underneath and tape it. I helped my DD make hers this way. We looked in magazines and cut out valentines and things and glued them onto the box.
