Very sad.. its been all over the news since it happened. They locked down 2 schools at the time. Today on the 5 o'clock news, they played the 911 tape... very scary and sad :(
They show that story THEN they say another woman is shot earlier today over a parking spot in north Tulsa :(

The sad part is that the protective order may not have stopped this from happening.

A protective order is just a piece of paper. Anyone who would commit a crime such as this isn't going to care about that. May she rest in peace and may there be a real hot corner reserved for him in the afterlife.

That is so sad. We had a similar thing happen here about a month ago in Fort Smith, AR. This woman fled to a battered womens shelter with her kids and filed a protective order. Her sister in law picked her up to take her somewhere and her estranged husband followed them and when they stopped at a light he rammed their car and got out and started beating her and then got a knife and stabbed her to death. He did this in front of all the people that were stopped at the light, it is a very busy intersection. People tried to stop him and he would push them away, he's a very very big man. My friends dad was there and when the man knew he had killed her he just threw the knife down and my friends dad put his foot on it until the police got there. They said he acted like he was the only one there, he didn't look at anyone even when he was pushing them away. An altercation started all of this at the kids school when he went to pick them up, the police arrived and talked to him until they thought he was calmed down. The police followed her and seen that her husband had went another way so they left thinking it was all over. He just went around the block to fake the police out. I really think the police should have followed her, but then again if it didn't happen that day it would have happened another because the husband was a real phyco. It's really sad that this has happened and it's sad that it happens too many times. I just pray for all the women that are battered and hope they can find saftey. My sister was battered and thank the lord she was able to find help and not end up as these women have.

so sad. The problem with this protective orders is that aren't worth anything but the paper they are written on, unless they do something and they can find them.
