Check Credit Card Fraud! :(

I just got my Delta FCU credit (Check) card and went on a trip to Atlanta, GA. Now keep in mind, Delta paid for this since I work for them and went for training. I went up for a one night stay at the Sheraton Gateway. Well, my fiance and I then decided another night would be wonderful, so we stayed at the Sleep Inn across the street, since Sheraton was overbooked. For that, we used cash. Well, the only time I used my card was for a movie (one you pay by phone to get-pay per view) it was just for 9.99/Ladder 49. Well, all was well UNTIL I got home, I went to simply withdraw a few dollars to get pizza and my account was overdrawn! It got EVEN better, I went to the bank personally to find out what happened and noticed there was a hotel withdrawal! It was for a hotel I NEVER heard of in SACRAMENTO, CA! I of course disputed it and did get my money back as well as credit for the nasty fees! ((I love my bank!)) Well, this vent, in summary, is "Please be careful when you order pay per view! It is apparently a trap!!!"

Glad things worked out for you. I hope you cancelled your card and requested a new one.
I have a Discover card. They sent me a letter to let me know they would be arriving soon. A month later I still didn't have them. I called Discover to see if they had been sent and they had. I was afraid someone took them from the mail somewhere. Anyways she asked if I wanted to cancel that card and they would reissue me new cards. Which I did. I didn't want someone to try to use them in the future if they were stolen in the mail some where along the way to me.

Oh yes, meant to add that. I did request a new card right away and so far NO trouble! ;) I just hope this does not happen to anyone else...........its so aggrivating!

been there done that! someone bought $600+ worth of stuff on ebay and charged it to my paypal which withdrew money that i didn't even have (overdraft protection) from my bank account, also making several of my debit card purchases over drawn. i was trying to cash my paycheck at the bank when they told me this. i was so upset i started crying. it took 2 months to clear this all up with paypal and my bank. i've since changed bank accounts and closed my paypal account. it's one of those things that you think will never happen to you.
