I was not aware anyone had been refused the request to join. Unless it is someone who has been known to abuse the site I think it is open.

I'm sorry your mother can't join now, but she can still get all the freebies she wants. She just can't join to post anything right now. They closed registration cause we had to many people coming on here and making names to get people upset with nasty comments. I have been with this board for years now and only login when I feel I have to post something. I still get to read and get all the freebie's I want.

Looking for freebies for non registered users ... GREAT!
But what about the For Sale Or Trade Posts... People should be able to sell.. People should be able to buy.. And without being registered users, they can't do either! JMO :p

Well...Freebies are for everyone as everyone...whether a member or not...has access to them.

This board was set up as a freebie board. The FSOT forum was added at the request of the members many years ago. Because of the problems that have been happening on this board, registration has been closed...I think temporarily. It's unfortunate...but it is what it is. :)

Since you haven't been around, you must have missed the never-ending drama. Since registration closed...it's been nice and peaceful around here.

I know I prefer it that way.

Actually...I think it's been a few weeks since I've seen any drama. But I recently heard that registration was closed for a while.
