My new Puppy!

Even though DH forgot our anniversary last month, he got me a Miniature Dachshaund. Hes soo cute! lol Hes also such a little lover! He'll sit in your lap for hours on end if you'd let him. Heres some pics of him. :)

AWWWW....I like the 5th one where puppy is sleeping on the couch..he is a cutie...whats his name? Your DD is a real cutie, love her cheeks.

We named him Tiny, we kept tryin out names and he just ignored us till we called him that then he perked up. Thats what he does most of the time. lol Thanks, shes a ham. lol

He's cute! My mother's friend has a dachshund and her name is Cujo. She's a real sweet dog but I guess when she was a puppy she was really bad and that's why she ended up with the name Cujo. :D

I have four miniature dachshunds. Love them to death! Your boy is so cute. I love dapples. One of mine is a black and tan dapple. Your's looks to be a chocolate dapple. Is that right?

How old is your new boy? I'm asking because he looks pretty big for a miniature. The AKC guidelines for miniature status states 11 lbs or under at one year and older. All mine are still a little overweight but would meet the 11 lb limit if they trimmed down a bit more. It doesn't really matter what size they are, all dachshunds are wonderful companions. I just hope you weren't mislead by the breeder/pet store.

What a cutie. I've never seen that color before. Love it. Many years ago we had a red miniature and named him Gus. What a sweetie he was. They are such a loyal breed.
