Question for people that have their own domain...

I just got my own domain, and I am new to all that stuff. How can I get email@mydomainname.net ? Is there a way I can get some type of program to set up email on my domain, so I dont have to pay an arm and a leg for it?

my domains place had a place where you could make up an email address and it was sent directly to an email address of my choosing.( kinda like email forwarding) hth a little I am new with it too.

It will depend on which site you used to set up your domain name with. Like all of mine are through Directnic.com and it has a user friendly built in program so that you can redirect your emails to your current e-mail program. If you are planning on getting your domain name hosted then you will probably have allot of e-mail options depending on the hosting site you choice. HTH's :)
