So Happy...

My BF took me shopping today to buy me a christmas present. Well he didnt tell me he was taking me to the jewelry store! He walks in the store and I was like what the heck is he doing. He says get what ring you want cause I didnt know what to get you! So I got a beautiful white gold and diamond ring. Its not an engadgment ring :( but its so pretty. Its got 9 diamonds shapped like a Princess cut diamond so that unless you look at it a certain way it looks like a solitaire. I cant believe he let me get something that cost that much (about$400 :eek: ) just for a right hand ring!!! I just hope he will get me an engadgment ring someday(soon). Oh and I guess the ring is like a promise ring. I am just so happy that I had to share with you guys!

So happy for you. That happened to a friend a few years ago. She figured well, guess I don't get an engagement ring this Christmas. But there it was in a huge box filled with some bricks. Coulda knocked her over with a feather :D

Oh I am mad now. I went to Zales web site and found the picture of the exact ring and its on sale for $249 but he paid $360 plus tax and a guaruntee which put it to $420. So he paid $111 more than advertised!!!! So I am so printing that out and going back to that place!
So thank you YankeeMary for telling me to get the pic off of the web site!

The quality and the color of the stones has a lot to do with the cost and worth. So you could have nicer stones in the same setting. Diamonds are scored on some kind of point system.
