I have been in the kitchen for the last 3 days baking for our family and friends and doing prep work for the Tamales we make every year for christmas (being hubby is hispanic it is a family tradition). I fell asleep sometime around 11pm last night and I just woke up and my oldest daughter has yet again just proven what a wonderful daughter she is. Yes...it is a type of bragg here! :) She has left me a note telling me that she folded my 3 loads of laundry I didn't do, washed the dishes, cleaned the bathrooms, and did the dishes and even cleaned her room. She goes on to tell me that she did this all for me because she knows it's going to be a hectic day and to make it easier on me. Bless her heart..So I have added another thing today to my list of why I am so thankful and happy to have what I have this christmas..I hope that all of you here find so many things and people to be thankful for and have a safe and wonderful christmas full of wonderful memories and love.

Wonderful!!! I don't know how to make tamales....but have heard it is a lot of work, how sweet for your DD to help you out. Now how do I get a sample of those tamales??? Yummy. Have a wonderful Christmas.

I love tamales. I live in New Mexico and tamales are a must during the Holidays. I can't wait for tonight's Christmas Eve Dinner. ;)
