I hope you are happy  (notice this is kind of sarcasm ;) ) We got so much snow here in Indiana that cars are covered and no one is allowed out or you get a ticket. I definately did not want it to snow for Christmas. My sister, whom I rarely see, is stuck in a motel somewhere and I probably will not see her for Christmas. :( :(

((((hugs)))) I'll tell you what, box the snow up & send it here to Pa. I will even pay the shipping!!

Sending thoughts & prayers for enough of a thaw for you to be with your sister on Christmas.

I'm in Indianapolis - we have about 6 inches in our backyard. South and
east of us got hit worse. There are about 10 counties with snow
emergencies.

Supposed to be sunny, cold and windy today.

Do you know if Shelby County was one of the counties listed? That is where my sister is. Thanks for info.

I'm in Ohio. We have 24 inches in our backyard. Our snow emergency level is at 3, which means no one is allowed out on the roads except emergency crews.

My poor doggy went out back to potty, and the snow COVERED her. She had to run in circles until she tamped down enough snow to go. It was comical, except for the temperature.

I don't know who ordered this much snow, but Santa is NOT coming for you!

We got a total of 18 inches in less than 24 hrs! (so far...) Also, underneath it all is a layer of ice!

I think it was affected, but I am not for sure. There were some counties that got 3-6" and there were some that got from 16" to 24". HTH

All you guys be careful where it is snowing and icy. Hope no one looses there power that isn't fun in the winter. Thanks for info I think I may be trying to call my sister to see how they are doing.

DivineMsDi, the snow isn't keeping me from going to see my sister. I would love to be able to visit her for Christmas, but my husband only gets the weekend off. They go on what they call shutdown where he works Christmas week and he can't take off during that time.

Well, I just called my sisters house. She is at work but her son said they have 16 to 18 inches. So she got hit with the snow where she is also.

I live in Maine and, I do hate to tell you - we have no snow and my husband has not had to plow our private road yet this season. Watching the storm on CNN gives us shivers. Our best to you - and I am sure we shall pay for this!
