What am I gonna do now!!!

On no!!! I can not believe it!!! I ordered my kids a few toys off KB Toys web site for Christmas. We didn't have alot of money this year so I went online and ordered them, most of which were clearanced, well anyway, it said the latest they would get here was the 24th. I was like cool I got this I can do it, so I went ahead and ordered each of them a few things. The site said they would not bill my debit card till they were shipped, I was like that is cool, so I looked at my bank account and guess what!!! They deducted the $98.97 from my account. I went to the site thinking I would be getting a tracking number for the toys, guess what??? :eek:


My delivery date has changed!!! :mad: :eek:


It is now January 3rd. :( :mad: :( :mad: :( :mad: :(


What am I gonna do?? I do not have any more money to go shopping again. We had to really pinch to get what I had on Friday!! I feel sick, I donno what I am gonna do! How will I explain this to them??:confused::(:(

I am calling in the AM to find out WTH is going on and how can they change the date like that with out asking you if you want to cancel it or not. How can they charge my card for something that is not shipped yet when right on the site and on my order form I printed out it said we will not bill you until your merchandise is shipped. MY goodness if I knew this I would have went to Walmart here or something.

I just can not believe it!! What am I gonna do?? :confused: :( :mad: :confused: :(

You might not have actually been charged yet.

When is my credit card charged?

We charge your credit card when we ship the item. If we have to ship items in your order separately, more than one charge may show up on your card. When you place your order, we pre-authorize your credit card to make sure the funds are available. Please note: if you use a debit card, the pre-authorization may look like a debit on your account. We won't actually debit your account until we ship your order. If we have to cancel your order, the amount of time it takes to credit your account depends on the issuer of your card.

I called the bank and they said yes the money is definately been deducted from my account. :(

that sucks, and it's too late to go to sign up for toy drives and such.

If you call KB Toys and they won't do anything to fix the problem, cancel your order then call your bank and dispute the charges. Just tell them that KB Toys was not authorized to take money out of your account until the order shipped and you have cancelled the order. The bank should have the money back in your account in the next day or so, they can tell you the specifics.

Last summer I ordered through them from BB's birthday. They changed the delivery date, but it came 2 days later. I hope things work out for you!! ***HUGS***

If the money has been taken out, chances are the order has been shipped. Did you get a confirmation email? you didn't mention one.

Maybe the order has shipped after all...I hope so. I have a suggestion from something I saw on TV the other night. The sitcom with the quints that dont look alike...can't remember the name, darnit! Anyway, the mother comments that she wishes they could by for the kids before Christmas instead of having to wait for after Christmas sales! Seems they would find pictures of what they would be giving the kids, cut them out and wrap them for opening Christmas morning! Then after the first of the year they went out and bought the items (assuming they could be found ;) ) when prices were slashed! I thought it sounded kinda cool, plus think of the wrapping paper it would save! :p Of course, if you have little little ones, they might not understand the concept, so I hope that you do get your order before the 24th...bless your heart, I will be thinking about ya! :)

I ordered from KB toys and my estimated date of delivery was today. I received the toys last thursday. BUT it didnt even show that it was delivered on their site until after I received them! I think they are having issues updating their site (my order went from"processing order" to delivered-lol) I hope everything works out!

I have had the same thign happen. I have ordered and I have gotten my things 3 or 4 days before the estimated delivery date. Hopefully the same thing has happened here :)

Thanks you guys!! I appreciate all your comments. I can not believe it though. I have called them 3 times today and finally on the third try, I got through to someone who understood what I was saying. She is gonna have a CS rep get in touch w/ me hopefully tommrow to see what can be done. I am hoping and praying that you guys are right and it is a glitch in the system. The girl I spoke w/ at the last call was so sweet, she really was doing all she was allowed to do for me. I really appreciated that. She also said alot of people seemed to be calling today with the same problem. She said hopefully, they will get it worked out before to long and she would keep after someone to do something to help me. TY!!

I also found out that the site is not actually KBtoys. It was bought at the beginning of the year by another company. The corprate from here told me that!! Can you believe it!!

Oh yeah, me too. In fact, I ordered a pair of jeans and it seemed like it was here in a day and a half. So I went and ordered a shirt I really liked and just happened to check out my prior orders and it said that the jeans I already received was due to be sent on the day I actually got em. So I was thinking . . . . Hey, they goofed! I'm gonna get another pair of jeans. For free!! lol Kept checking my online acct for the credit card I used there, making sure I wasn't gonna get charged for a second pair I didn't order. Well, I didn't get the extra pants I thought I was gonna get. They just goofed up the date on their site. Hope u get your stuff before Xmas!

I called Walmart this morning and asked if I printed out a deal from internet would he honor it for me. He said yes!! Wooo Hooo!!! I got $30 from my sil for Christmas, so that is what I will use it for!!! :D

No. We still have not gotten them. :(They are saying around January 3rd. Bunch of crud if you ask me. :D My kids had a nice Christmas though, I took $50 from check due on Friday, went to stores (Walmart and mall) found some awesome deals, our local community center had a drawing for a girls bike which I entered, GUESS WHAT!! I won. I could not believe it. I was thrilled. My grandma got the kids a few things too and so did my dad. I also wrapped everything individually lol. Even stocking stuff. :D All in all they knew no difference. Hubby and I are still upset. Ill let you know when and if it comes!! LOL

Hi Catrina,

Well lets see the toys finally came December 30th, of course it was AFTER Christmas, but that was ok, I had them sit in front of the boxes as I took each thing out. Boy, were they thrilled. My son toook all his stuff and hhas been driving my hubby crazy. Most of the things were noise makers. :D LOL

Like I said though, we had a wonderful Christmas, with or without everything I had planned on giving them. My kids are awesome they ask for little and expect nothing.


Thanks for asking again. I tried to tell you the other night on the other site but I had to leave computer and get baby a bottle when I came back you were gone. LOL
