E-bay question?????

I won an auction on e-bay on 12-02-04 and paid the same day. Still have not received my shirt! Seller said he shipped first class. Even with shipping to Hawaii it should be here by now. I paid with paypal for the auction. Does anyone know if paypal or e-bay has the seller do tracking, delivery confirmation or anything? I though I heard somewhere that they were required to do something of that nature. This was to be a Christmas present and I don't think it's going to happen. :mad: Any and all help will be much appreciated :)

I also live in Hawaii...Honolulu to be exact and only when the seller ships parcel post should it take that long. First class should take less than two weeks, parcel post takes approx 5 weeks. HTH! :)

Thanks Navywife. I have gotten items shipped here to Kauai that were sent parcel post and it did take almost 5 weeks to get here. I have e mailed the e-bay seller but wanted to know if anyone knows about e-bay rules. Just hope someone can help. Never mind. I just went to e bay and read the rules. They offer protection up to $200.00 but with a $25.00 fee. I only paid $20.00 for the shirt so other then leaving negative feedback there isn't much I can do. :(

PayPal does have different rules than eBay for shipping. They require that a seller ships within 7 days of payment and also that you send it with some kind of tracking (delivery confirmation, UPS, FedEx, etc). If your buyer neglected to get this, then they will refund your money and you can pay the buyer if/when the shirt shows up.

But go file now because they only give you 30 days from the day you paid! Personally, I won't ship to Hawaii unless it's going Priority Mail. Once I shipped something parcel post and it took almost 10 weeks to get there. :eek:
