I love this show. I've watched it since the very first episode in 1970.

I have been incredibly upset with the entire Bianca/Babe...baby switch...baby died storyline.

FINALLY...Bianca learns that her baby IS ALIVE. Well, of course the writers couldn't let her enjoy the fact. She had to fall off a balcony and now is in a coma with potential for amnesia.

But...and this really irks me. What is Bianca's (and Erica's) immediate reaction to the news that Amanda is alive? THEY ARE FURIOUS!

I don't think that's what would happen. Frankly, if I found out that my baby was alive...my first reaction would be amazement...wonder...sheer joy and happiness.

Upon reflection and hindsight...I would get furious...but that certainly wouldn't be my first response.

(Okay...all you people who don't watch soaps...I do realize this isn't real life and that there isn't any semblance to reality. But I have been waiting a long time for resolution to this storyline...and I'm NOT getting it!!!)

Yeah, but then it wouldn't be a SOAP, I a tired of this too, kinda like when Natalie was in a WELL, for like a YEAR...but when JANET came, that was HOT..maybe they can SPIN this into a great story line, (you have to have watched this for eons to remember Natalie in a well and her JANET character..that was good...and WHERE is OPAL< she should get a great storyline, I see her in the summer and holidays, she is from Minnesota, at my Co-op and shopping and vintage stores, she is cool..and doesn't have any accent at all..I dunno I like JR as an Adam Jr...he is a creep, like Adam..so it is ok, but this is DRAGGING out, I thought by Christmas, tehy would give Bianca that DUMB baby back..sshheessh!

OK also along the lines of the Bianca/Miranda story i am also upset cuz Kelly Buchanan is chasing down Ace.....
This week she tracks down Babe/Jamie and demands her baby back.....If i was Babe i'd be like" This is my child and if ya dont believe me let go do a DNA"

omg I know!! I thought for sure the story line would be more exciting than this! Truly a let down. Give Bianca her baby back already. My theory with Babe runnin off with Ace is that he'll come back sometime in the future as a teenager looking for his real parents, etc. You know how that goes. A year goes by and they are full grown , LOL

And yes, I do miss the good ole story lines with Natalie and "mean Janet Green!" you know she is playing Heather on General Hospital now but I dont care for that character and know she wont be there for long.

And I miss Haley and Mateo and "uncle Porkchop" , Natalies husband the cop... darn it what was his name?? lol

I too have been watching All My Children since I was little.... remember when Tad was "Tad the Cad" ?? LOL and Brooke (played by Julia Barr) is from my hometown :)

I've been watching All my Children on and off since I was 13. After a few years of not watching soaps, I started watching again.......I'm soooo ready for this storyline to be resolved!

Ok, so this year's Christmas miracle is that they are going to put Miranda in the arms of Bianca while she is in her coma and she will come out of her coma. It has to work out that way. So we have a month to deal with who is poisoning Greenlee, chasing Babe, Jamie and James, and what Jonathan is really doing in PV.

I started watching this in the early 1970's when Erica married her first husband. When Nick ran the dance studio in town. I know I am dating myself but it's true. Right now I want this baby switch completely over and lets move on to other things.

I agree with you. All Babe has to do is demand a DNA test. However...the downside to that is that there is a possibility that J.R. will find out about his son.

I admit I'm feeling a little sorry for J.R....he really loves Bess/Miranda.

Palmer is all but non existant anymore, they brought back Bobby..his grandson yet never do they speak of his mother. Speaking of Bobby, why is always over at Edmund and Marias? They adopted his son... that has to be a bit confusing on the little boy that went to take a nap a year ago.
I hate the way they send all these poeple into a room and you never see them again, at least mention their names once in a while.

The DNA test that David did proved that James was JR's baby. Which is why Babe and Jamie are on the run with James.

Phoebe is 89 years old and in a wheel chair. I don't think she's doing very well. Palmer reads his lines from a queue card these days and he isn't walking very well either, which explains why we don't see him very often.

Bobby has been let out of his contract. About time because they have done nothing with his character and hopefully that means that Anita, the whiner, will go too.

As far as Erica goes, she has her moments. Some days I dislike her and some days I cheer for her. She and Jack will be married probably by either New Years or Valentine's Day. And all I can say is it's about time.

Jack and Erica are seriously BORING.. again.. the great story line was when Bianca found out about Erica and Jack and burned the house down with her dolls, I miss the real Travis too..I loved MIKE ROY and Erica alot and that STUPID Vegas Girl line for Erica was really icky..
Does anyone know Bianca's middle name..I do and have forever and don't cheat..tell me, it is a cool name, for her...

And WHY did Liza leave, she was a great welcome back..and Crysatl and TAD..I haven't seen it in a few weeks, I assume that is still happening..

Actually...Susan Lucci and I share the same birthday...except that she was born one year later (1949)...at least that's what used to be posted. Who knows what year they are using nowadays. If her year hasn't changed it makes her coming up on her 55th birthday!

He is now married but soon to be divorcing Maria's sister, that may be why he is over there. LMAO funny how he never mentions the boy out of curiousity , etc. I had totally forgotten about that deal with him getting that girl preggers and them adopting him!

I have been watching AMC since i was 13 and am now 44...its addicting but.... I live in Florida and when the hurricanes came through here and took out our power for 2 weeks i didnt get the chance to watch it and after going through 2 hurricanes i kinda forgot all about it. Well needless to say i watched it the other night for the first time in almost TWO months and i was SHOCKED that Bianca still didnt know that Miranda was alive and she was really Bess. They have got to put an end to this baby deal and start with something new !!!!!!!!!!

Well...actually...if Erica Kane's birthdate has been changed to 1962...that makes the character's age as 42...which would make the Kendall character 28.

However...Susan Lucci is NOT 42. I believe she will be 55 years old on Christmas Eve.

However...I found this link which says that she graduated high school in 1964 (I graduated in 1968).

That would make her 4 years older than I am as opposed to just 1 year as I always thought. Maybe she graduated young.

Either way...an actress's age as little to do with the character's age. Soaps are notorious for aging young actors. I would expect nothing less than to chop of a few years for older ones...LOL!

P.S. I just love discussing AMC with all of you. I first got involved on the computer in an All My Children chatroom about 8 years ago. It was an AOL chatroom that eventually shut down.

Bianca is in a coma in intensive care and she is propped up in bed. The least they can do is have her slightly reclining. Jeesh! LOL!

Which story line is everyones fav..my was Natalie/Janet..I loved Erica being married to ADAM again, and the FITS they had..I hated Gloria and Adam/ Stewart..that was bad..LOVED WHO killed WILL CORTLANDT, I loved his character, and when Hayley took off her makeup was good, 'member her BLACK WIG??
I loved when Nina married Cliff in a beautiful Black and Red dress, 2nd time I think..and when Maria died...I cried my little self to an hours worth into OLTL...

According to an article in todays newspaper Susan Lucci will turn 57 on Dec 23rd. They are having a 30th anniversary show, but it will be as Dr Martins 30th yr at the hospital.

Now..back to the age thing
Erica 16 when show started now 30 yrs on show...she "should" be 46 on the show now. Which would make Kendall 32!!!!

AT LAST...AT LAST...AT LAST.

I was extremely annoyed because we were led to believe it would happen on the Christmas show (which aired on the 24th). Oh well.

I was glued to the show this past Monday and my hubby was ridiculing me...LOL.

Didn't you'all just love how Bianca awoke from her coma and was immediately alert...looking great!

I DON'T CARE!!! At least she now has her baby. (I even felt sorry for J.R....but not much.)

The last few shows have been real tear jerkers! I am so happy that Miranda is back with her mother and that everyone seems content for a change. Even Opal and Palmer were kissing. It was a good ending even if it did seem to take years and years to get there.

I saw the Opal character, in a vintage store, back, in October, she said by NEW YEARS, all is answered, though I did have to chase her around..Jill Larson, is the nicest gal, that is Opal, she wants all of to write to NOT have Erica and Jack.. together, give Ol' Erica something else to do..and NOT a dumb dancer in Vegas..she WANT'S a STORY with him..seriously..and she fears, this is TRUE, if there is no story line, (I mean COME ON who is Erica's best FRIEND, OPAL or MURTLE, for cry-eyes).. she might get less and less..until she moves outta town..or is a cameo.. I want her back with Palmer, to wipe out this INJUSTICE....LOL!!!
I have not hooked my cable up, that happens after the 1st of the year..busy at work, so I can see the 7:00 PM run back at SOAPNET...
