OMG! My husbands boss was shot 3x's

We just found out tonight that the man my husband works for was shot in the head 3 times last night.

Apparently his girlfriends ex husband came over as Tim(DH boss) was putting up xmas decorations with his 14 yr old daughter, broke down the door and shot him and then turned the gun on himself and killed himself.

So now my DH's boss is in Harborview Medical center in critical condition. We hope he makes it. He is also the owner of the company Dh works for so we have no idea what will happen with that.

What a terrible tragedy.... :(

Such a tragidy, I hate things like this happening, poor little girl, she will suffer for years over this. The family has my prayers.

That is SO horrible. If that man survives, He is going to be emotionally scarred. His family will also. I know how it is first hand. I was shot 10 years ago, and it devestated my whole family. It caused me to have a nervous break down. I was an emotional vegatable for years. I was scared to go out or anything. I really feel for this man and his family. Esp his poor daughter. I still see the look in my parents eyes as they came in to see me. I had never seen my dad cry in all of my life. You can tell he was crying. They had almost lost me. My dad was the manager at the gas station I worked at. He blamed himself for hiring me. I had only been there 3 weeks. I had begged him to hire me. I wanted to help him with bills and such.

This family will be going through a great deal of stress and emotions. I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers. Its going to be very very hard to deal with the holidays from this day on. My incident happened on Nov 20th 1994. I still cant get into the holiday spirit anymore. I do it for my daughter now. But I am not emotinally in it. ((((((HUGS))))))) to the family.

It amazes me how people just refuse to deal with their problems and allow themselves to do things like this. If the relationship with his ex was over, then what good does it do to try and kill the new guy and then kill yourself? And the daughter! OMG, bless her heart! What a tragedy to have to deal with. God, I hope he makes it and is able to recover from this terrible incident. This is a crazy, crazy world and it seems to just keep getting worse every where you turn.

He attempts to hurt his ex wife without hurting her by attempting to kill the man she loves. And then he kills himself so that he takes away the chance of being brought to trial. Men do this more often than women. They kill the children, the new husband or boyfriend and leave the ex wife to have to deal with what is left over. I just don't understand the thought process behind it.

Well everyone will probably flame me but I wonder if the boss had anything to do with the marriage being over? Doesn't make it ok, but it might be a little more understandable. Prayers for all, especially the poor daughter.
