you can purchase the paramite dip from a vet or other brands also farm stores
carry mange dips .
you can put it in a spray bottle & spray them down & wipe the faces with a cloth wetted with it. Also dip your dog at the same time
If these dogs are litter mates , it may be demodex , it is not contagious but they would still need care. Stress can make them break out & some dogs simptoms go away with bathing , antibiotic ointment on the sores , love , care & a few good meals.

Have a look at this site. These things that you can do right now might make your dogs a little more comfortable until you can take them to the vet. Do a google search, there are many sites for self help. Also, have you called vets to see if you are able to get on anykind of payment arrangements?

we have been feeding them and gave them a place to sleep. like i said they are very sweet dogs.
i just don't understand why people do this! you can't see our house from the road so why would they dump them here of all places?
i'm scared to let the kids go outside, cause i dunno how they are are with kids, and because the open has open sores.

Dipping is the only thing you can do.
You can buy mange dip but I know how you feel a expense for someone else problem. We are the same way get drop offs but it is not the dog's fault.
Also we live off the road too. They probably knew you had a good heart and would look after the dogs.
I would love to take those people out and dump them somewhere with no money, food or anything to let them see how it felt to be all alone.

i feel so bad for the dogs, they want to be loved so much.
it makes me sick that people act like animals are disposable like this
one of the dogs looks like she was feeding puppies, we have watched her to see if she might of had puppies around the house but she stays at the back door and does nowhere.

My DH once told me they used to put burnt motor oil on the dog's coat and it would kill the mange. I found a website w/ info on how to do it. HTH
"The easiest and most inexpensive treatment to kill the mites on dogs that are kept outdoors, and heal minor bacterial infections is a two part treatment. First, bathe the mange infected dog with an inexpensive dog shampoo or dishwashing liquid detergent while using a firm, bristle brush to scrub off any scabs or scaly skin. Second, dip a rag in used automobile motor oil and generously apply the oil to the infected area along with the surrounding hair. DO NOT get the oil in the dogs ears or eyes. This treatment will kill the mites that are causing the hair loss/bacterial skin infections, is safe to use on your dog, and the used motor oil acts as a moisturizer to help stop itching. This treatment will work in 98% of all mange infected animals, especially those without any major bacterial skin infections."

WE picked up a stray , and there wasn't anything this dog DIDN'T have. She had mange. I have two other dogs also, and the vet put a special color on her. It was for ticks. It only cost me $5 and I think we went through two of them. He said, a few good meals and some nutrients, as well as her imune system getting strong enough was all it would take. Sure enough, after about two months, her hair started growing back and the little thing started looking a whole lot better. She is almost a year old now and healthy as a horse. She has a beautiful coat of hair and is a very grateful loving dog.
Good luck.
PLEASE ASK ABOUT THE TICK COLAR BEFORE YOU TRY MOTOR OIL
