My cousin commited suicide

My cousin had been missing since yesterday morning - they found her today about 60 miles from where she lives. She commited suicide by overdosing on pills. I don't know many details yet. She never said a word to any of us. She had lost 2 of her 3 sons due to various terminal illness's and I know she never got over it. Please pray for all of us - it is so hard to deal with :(

Suicide stops the pain for that person but it does spread the pain on to those who are living. Understand that there was nothing you could have done to stop this and be sure that the surviving child gets as much emotional support as you can offer. I feel sorry that she found this way the only way to deal with her pain. But I understand why she would do it.

My best friend's brother killed himself. (Shot himself in her bedroom no less.)

His suicide pretty much destroyed the family. Their mother has NEVER been the same.

It makes me angry that someone could do this to their family. But, I guess their pain is so bad that they selfishly can think of nothing except themselves and making the pain stop. Unfortunately, all the person has done is give their pain to their loved ones.

My cousin tried to commit suicide, she took a whole bottle of sleeping pills with wine coolers. We used to be close, I had no idea. Her babysitter, on errands, happend to drive by and wonder why her car was home and she was not at work. When no one answered the door she got the manager. Luckily she was found in time. She was in the hospital for four days and put in mental health care. I worry about her all the time, she is a single mom with two little girls depending on her for everything, her ex is a drunk and never helps with anything. I wish she didn't live so far away.
