No Freebies!

I have signed up for several freebies over the past few months and have yet to receive any of them. I won the full size Neutrogena Facial Peel and while others have received them, I havent. Ditto on the gas card, $5 Starbucks GC, etc. Could my mailperson be stealing them? :confused:

I don't know about the ones you mentioned, but I've signed up for lots of freebies. Sometimes they come and sometimes they don't. And some of them, when they do come, seem to take forever.

I don't think it's your mailman. I think some companies just want some info from you and never intend on sending the item or run out of the item.

Just an idea. Could you possibly get someone to mail you something and use your printer to print "Your Gift enclosed" on the front of the envelope. Possibly insert an old giftcard inside. Write a note inside that says "I know your stealing my mail". :D See if it makes it to your mailbox.

I like that idea. I may have to try that one of these days! :D I once had a mailperson steal something from a package then repackaged it (horribly I might add) and when I opened up the box there was nothing inside. Scoundrels!!

i have emailed about the facial peel and they told me that they have had a delay in shipping and that i would be getting it soon. it depends on what program you got it through, i'm getting mine thorugh O magazine.

I wonder the same thing about someone stealing my FREEBIES. Like the mailman or a neighbor. I hate thinking this but I see people posting about the freebies they got when I know I should be getting the same ones. I still haven't gotten my gas card. I also think that companies think my address is a P.O. Box when it isn't. It is a mailbox on the road. I admit the road is in "No Wheres Ville" but come on now. Let's all say a prayer to the Freebie Angel that they show up soon.

Freebies have been few and far between since the big internet boom. I don't ever remember it being as bad as this though. Their use to be so many free deals, and freebies on the internet, but now you see nothing. I guess since the economy has went down the toilet under Bush companies don't do promotions anymore.

I remember when their was a steal deal or a great freebie posted every day, but no more. Even the big companies are cutting back on what they give away.

I don't send for many freebies anymore since so little came. Keep the email if you can and then email the company after about six weeks---most time they give you for it to arrive---and tell them it hasn't gotten to you yet.

I sent for a GC for a test drive to Giveanything and it never came. I had kept their email order confirmation in my email so I sent it to them telling them I didn't get it yet. They emailed me saying they didn't know and would send it right out. About six weeks later I was about to email them again and it came. It was for 35 dollars so worth following up on. The freebies that are not worth much, I just forget. How much is your time worth to you? That is what is important.

Hey, I finally got my BP gas card yesterday. Since it says You're a Winner on the front, I now doubt my mailman is stealing freebies. Now I just feel guilty. Oh well. It pays to be patient.

I got an email today about the Neutrogena Facial Peel . It said that I wasn't one of the first 2500, but since there was glitch on their site, they were honoring the order. It said they were behind on shipping the products, but that I would receive it.
