Spinach................or sauerkraut...............had to eat it till it was all gone in grade school and had to eat more if we got caught sticking it in our empty milk cartons.

I agree about the fruitcake (blech) I didn't put it on my list because I consider that a given that I didn't like it LOL ...

I can honestly say I have never witnessed anyone eat fruitcake in my entire life... what kind of people eat that?? LOL ;)

Once I had a piece of REAL fruitcake, made from scratch by a lady from Romania. It was excellent - not at ALL like the ones sold in stores that taste like - well, I can't even think of anything to compare it to!

REAL fruitcake is excellent.... this junk they sell...... EWWWWWWWW!!

I always hate devilled eggs and "throw up gravy" as my grandma calls it - gravy made with the innards of the turkey, including it's liver. yuck!

Fruitcake store bought or homemad. My sister in law made some homemade fruitcake some with booze and some without I didn't like either. Other people that tried it that are fruitcake eaters said it was good.
Never had mincemeat so can't say if I like it or not. Don't like eggnog either.

My granny made homemade fruitcake.....made it early in the year and soaked them in either brandy or rum.......it might have been the idea of having alcohol, but I thought it was good when I was a kid.

Our family only does the traditional meal at Thanksgiving. Christmas is usually gumbo or something that doesn't keep the women tied to the kitchen all day. We're doing Christmas at my little brother and SIL's this year, I think we're having Buford stew...DD will probably have crab legs.
