Okay does anyone know.............













How many days after your period before you get pregnant... I have heard 15 days from the first day of your last period, then I have heard 3 days after, I have heard so many different days is there really a day? Is there a site you can go to, to find this out? Thanks

You can get pregnant anytime, though you're more likely to conceive when you ovulate....usually about two weeks after, though it's different for everyone.

I've heard that you ovulate 14 days before your next period. If you have a perfect 28 day cycle, then it would also be 14 days after your period. The egg lives 24 hours but the guy's genetic contribution (I'm not sure if I can use the exact word here) can live up to five days in you, just waiting for the egg to show up. Just don't risk it at all. Take the pill, get the shot or one of you wear protection. I wouldn't risk it at ANY time of the month.

I have a IUD, so far so good. I asked for a friend of mine, she is 25 and is trying to get pregnant. It will be her first. Her and her dh have been trying and they finally bought a ovulation kit. Thanks for the info all!

I don't have a single clue about the best time to get pregnant. Seems that alot of people get pregnant at different times in their cycles.

ohhhh ~~ Well I have been with the same guy for 6 years now, which is pretty good, lol I am only 24 years old....lol. Anyway I don't wanna get pregnant ever ever again, I have two kids a boy 6 years old and a girl 3 years old and thats all I need plus my b/f has a son who is 11 years old, lol thats enough for me......lol

Do you know how to take your temperture and look for the signs of when you are ovulating? Ovulation kits are great now and I hope they are reliable but if not learn the signs.

Go to www.naturalfamilyplanning.com I think that is the addy or do a search. It's religious based but if you are not interested in that just learn how to see the sign of ovulation. Also good for women who can't take the pill or have had trouble with artificial birth control.
