tickly throat cough?

I've had a bad cold, and now I have that tickly throat cough that drives me mad. Nothing helps. I've tried hot tea, gargling with salt water, etc. Cough syrup never helps. Do any of you know of a great home remedy?

When my throat would get like that, I'd suck on Ricola drops - honey/lemon. Seemed to do the trick.

Try getting a couple teaspoons of sugar, put it in your mouth, and slowly swallow it. That may help :)

Try some Chamomile tea.Celestial Seasoning makes some that is great.It always work for me.Or try adding some honey and lemon to a cup of hot tea and sip it.
